have you tried reducing iso on camrea or higher shutter speed , if its to bright , on smartphone in pro settings while on other i doknt know , i use gopro , on my channel i have videos , im thinking of buying 3.2mm skywatcher planetary for my 8inch dob
I’ve decided to get the full set of BST starguider Ed eyepieces for my 8inch dob as all I’ve heard is good things about them especially the 5,8 and 12.only 47.99 on eBay so gonna go for it!
Excellent! I purchased the complete TMB Planetary II line. Very satisfied with the performance and price. I don't have to see angels' eyebrows to be content with an eyepiece, or pay a king's ransom for it. They work well in my refractor. Excellent tools for the job!
My 3,2mm TMB should give a 203x magnification in my telescope but I am getting much bigger magnification than my 217x set (6mm Celestron + 2x barlow). Is that normal? Could it be a 2.5mm even though it is labelled as 3,2?
Beautiful presentation and side by side comparison of eyepieces. #1. TMB 3.2mm #2. Starguider ED 3.2mm #3. TMB 2.5mm That is the order of the eyepieces in my opinion.
Great comparo thanks ..These eps are variable in quality most are good though some occasional poor ones..the 8mm always seems great .the 3.2 not so ..still better than average plossls..the Konig is known for high contrast esp barlowed ..a filter helps with contrast anyhow viz light yellow or light yellow green, even sharpens the image in many achromats no need for a fringe killer..In big dobs planets get washed out by brightness a filter is a MUST to see the GRS or details on Mars
something is amiss, if you used the same scope, the images should have been identical, yet the star guider image was smaller, so I assume you used 2 scopes, and the star guider was in a shorter focal length scope. That's why the tmb appeared darker and showed more detail. Had you swapped the eyepieces into the others scope, the tmb would have been smaller and brighter and some of the small details would have been lost.
TMB II for the win I have the 4mm and the 2.5 is sitting underneath my Xmas tree so looking forward to some great Lunar observations something to note for those not aware TMB eyepieces I like some of the others actually have an adjustable eye relief you can turn the top to draw it out or in great to super tune your experience and get the whole field of view in consistently also great for eyeglass wearers too 😊😊
im back again to watch your videos. part 1 and 2 lol i ended up getting the tmb 2.5mm the 4mm and the 6mm love them you helped me out big time next will be the 9mm and just because i feel like it il get the 3.2mm
I have a 10" DOB i bought a 2.3mm TMB Clone from Amazon. I tried it on a few planets with a fliter only and it was really poor tbh was not sharp and was blurry. My scope was collimated before use and using the celestron zoom lens with a barlow it was way sharper and detailed. Now returning this back to Amazon and will look at a 5mm instead.
@@MansHobbsInterests Yea i think you are right as some people are really happy with them. For the zoom take a look on Aliex got mine for £45 8-24mm can use with Barlow 2x. Or if you are London/Essex based can try mine
Hey nice side by side thats a great comparison tool! Check out astro-talks.ru they have the bench test supposedly the TMB are the same ep 2.6mm actual, the comparo with the starguider shows the 3.2mmTMB to be higher mag. Great presentation you got a thumbs up
