Hello, thanks for sharing knowledge. My 2009 Cherokee 3.0 after removing the tank to change the fuel float had this situation, is it something temporary?
Thank you for posting these. I am seriously considering buy a 2008 3.0 CRD and it has a history of P0088 and going into limp mode. Did the sensor repair solve that or did it require the additional swirl motor bypass? Also, with your experience with these, would you recommend purchasing one with 150k miles?
Ya the Sensor repair fixed the problem, I dont have this vehicle anymore the owner drove this from Canada to Mexico with OUT any problems im surprised it made it in. Purchasing with 150km Hmmm make sure the tune-up been done and making sure the engine been De-carbon
Hello !! I have that code on my 2008 CRD it has 184k miles . But it never really happen the same way. I clear the code and when it comes back , it's never after exactly the same driving pattern, sometimes engine is cool , sometimes operating temperature. If the sensor wire was bad , should the be about sensor circuit ? Have you solved that issue by changing the regulator on the left rail ? Do you have part number for that connector and terminal ? Thanks .
Hi there, thanks for share good information, i would like to ask for some advice from you, i have a 2008 Cherokee CRD, the car was stored for over 1year , i was attempting to start the engine run for about 1 minute and shut down, wont start again since then, i have the code P0088 fuel rail system low pressure . Truly appreciate any time of advice Thank you so much Renato
Plug in scanner Start the engine again monitor your Fuel rail pressure see if you have desired pressure showing. Wiggle the fuel pressure sensor connector from the fuel rail if that change your problem, Good luck
