Not a noob question :) That's up to you, sometimes people can record to a different app when using special microphones, but I would recommend just recording into the quicktime/OBS for simplicity's sake. Then you don't need to worry about syncing it later. Hope that helps :)
At no point in this entire video do you actually explain the ONLY THING I want to know. How do you take the gallary view, which is ONE video, and separate all of the video tracks so that you can put down a coloured background. You get that in the end but skip 100% of the instructions, or else I skipped over them because your video is constantly getting distracted changing lighting and colour, that stuff that I do not care about. How do you end up with five videos that are all independently able to be moved around, from the gallery view?
Hi Kyle, sorry you couldn't find what you were looking for, at 9:44 I start explaining how to fill in gaps when someone's camera stopped using the gallery view from Zoom, and I think that's what you were looking for. I did go over it really quickly, so I apologise, but basically you scale up your zoom gallery view and move the position of that clip until you can only see the person you want to isolate. Then nest that clip and you have a full screen version of a specific person. You can also use the crop effect from the effects panel and cut out everyone else and scale the person you want to keep. Hope that helps!
