Particle in an Infinite Potential Well (QUANTUM MECHANICS)

Particle in a Box, or Particle in an Infinite potential well (square/rectangular) is a common and important problem in Quantum Mechanics.
In this video, I discuss the Quantum behavior op a particle confined to a box. to make the problem simpler, we assume that the particle's motion is restricted to one dimensions. In such a case let's suppose the particle is confined in between x=0 and x= L where it encounters an impenetrable barrier. So the potential in between 0 and L is zero but infinite every where else. athe way to solve this problem is to solve th Schrodinger's Equation.
Here I write down the appropriate Schrodinger's Equation fod particle stuck inside an infinite potential, solve it, obtain the values of its coefficients, plot the wavefunction as well as probability density and discuss the nature of discrete energy levels.
This is a complete video on the quantum mechanical solution of a particle in an infinite potential well. So it got a bit lengthy.
Hope you find the video helpful.

Correction : At 20:26 I made a mistake for the trigonometric identity involving Sin2x. It should be Cos2x = 1 - 2(Sinx)^2 or, (Sinx)^2 = (1 - Cos2x)/2 FORTUNATELY, the final integration result (and normalization constant) came out to be exactly the same... So final result is correct. Uff :D

This was an amazing video sir. I think it will be really helpful to students if you created a whole series of quantum mechanics, based on Griffiths. Prof. Brant Carlson has already made a course on YT, but I think that too lacks a certain rigour in explanation of complicated problems.

Sir, as the particle is moving inside the box then it must have some energy and if we some how calculate it's energy then we can calculate corresponding wave function. And if we are unable to calculate its energy then also it has some specific energy which is constant but it's wave function is linear superposition of all the above mentioned wave function.Sir, Can you please clear my doubts ;) And thankyou sir all your videos are the BEST.
