This is a test so see the chip formation. There are different feed rates to ensure perfect chip control and productivity. For normal use switch on the internal coolant.
Hey guys just wondering is there any reason in particular you feed hard at the start? I know it’s recommended to slow towards the middle. Just did not know if I’m missing a trick
Hey it forces the chip directly on the chip breaker. Sometimes the tool deflects slightly when it touches the component. Than the chip doesn’t hit the breaker right and you have long chips in the beginning. Also you can pull back the tool after the first stage to let it center in self. Specifically with long overhangs. @@umbramundi1522 hello this should work easy just set different feed rates for different diameters example: X60 start than G1 X55 F0.2 than G1 X12 F0.12 than X0 F0.02 👍
