Hello I been binge watching all your videos and they are very helpful. I been working nightshift for 9 months. I work 5 nights a week. 11pm to 7am, I come home have a shower, eat something and sleep. When I wake up I feel really terrible. (I wake up around 12-3). I eat something and spend few hours with family and go back to sleep and do it all over again. I feel super unhealthy do you have any tips to improve this routine.

Hi. Thanks for watching bulk videos. I would add in a few things. When you get up around 3, go outside. If you can do some exercise (even just going for a walk) and get some sun to hit your skin, you'll feel better. Working up a sweat in the afternoon before my next shift really helps me sleep and makes me feel less like a slob. I would also start drinking green juice. I drink SuperGreen TONIK and honestly can't rate it higher. It's full of healthy stuff. Here is the link for it - supergreentonik.com/?rfsn=5835055.445e5f. If you are waking at 12pm, it's not enough sleep. I hope you are able to have another nap before you go. We should be aiming for 7-9 in a 24 hour period. How much water are you drinking? Dehydration can make you feel VERY average. Lastly, have a look at your diet. Is there room for improvement there? More veggies and fruit and less processed food? I hope this helps.

I got a question. My bf choose to work graveyard shift at his job...but now it's stumbled on me of how do we make time for each other? I am happy that he is loves this, totally supportive here! Should I just wait for his day off to see him? We live in different towns. Advice?

Hi! Thanks for watching. It's tricky but not impossible. Dates and time together will look less conventional and may not be understood by other people, this is the first point as sometimes it can make you doubt things. Secondly, can you do breakfast dates after he finishes a shift? Can you meet for lunch when he has a day off? Can you have dinner together before he leaves at night for work? Try booking something nice on his days off to give you both something to look forward to. Embrace video calls and even handwritten letters.

It is too hot to sleep in the mid afternoon and my body wants to poop between 03:00 pm and 06:00 pm anyway. I am not dating anybody but I would hate to lose my free time to somebody else. Drink more water !

@@theothershift bs. that implies the only thing to a relationship is sex. What about the day to day realiities of life? What about family obligations? What about actually BEING there for each other? The truth is it destroys relationships. And it encourages affairs. Night shift workers need to be with other night shift workers. Only way to make it work. We regular people are expected to be contortionists to fit into the nooks and crannies of time they may have for us while they have zero expected of them.
