The roughly 5,000 informal settlements in Dhaka, Bangladesh, are characterized by overcrowding and a lack of access to safe water, sanitation and electricity. Through Home Equals, Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy campaign, we are partnering with local governments and residents in informal settlements in Bangladesh and around the world to shape policies that improve the places they call home.
