For two characters that are supposed to be as close as they are, Wyll and Karlach have a shockingly low amount of banter with each other. I assume Karlach being a late addition and Wyll getting a complete rewrite might be why.
His old version was available in Early Access. He had a different voice actor and was a bit of a fuckboy who had a toxic relationship with minzora. You can fine plenty of videos on youtube.@@Wijikata
@@WijikataLess of a swashbuckling hero of righteousness and more of a conflicted, desperate hero. The official art of a naked Mizora behind Wyll licking his neck can give us an idea of what he may be. I think Wyll and Mizora are supposed to be "closer" than the release version.
@@Wijikatathis is from EA version. the original Wyll wasn't ravenguard son. just a noble boy with no actual combat experience, got into flamingfist and cowardly got hurted by the goblin Spike (the torturer in goblin camp). Lost his eye to him and Spike kept that eye. mizora approached him after he woke up. kinda trick him into making the pact. originally they both got snatched by illthid and Mizora's pod was the one you found under the bridge between the grove and blighted village. hid nemesis Spike took Mizora and sent her to moonrise ( the only same part with plot in new Mizora compare to the old one). by the little amount of information putting together, the og Wyll probably got a little intimate physically with Mizora. she's his "daisy" character.
Teammate: "The final battle. If anything happens it's been an honor" Tav: "Guys, we have, like, 38 Scrolls of Revivify. I'm pretty sure we'll be fine."
Thank you so much DanaDuchy for making these types of videos. It really gives everyone a chance to truly appreciate the voice acting and work, sometimes players can go their whole play through without hearing some of them. Thank you for putting in the hard work of putting this together.
Honestly, I just love that the writers went all out in making it as clear as day that Astarion is a rape survivor, and that he’s able to be as emotional about it as he is. When I was watching early access I was able to read between the lines, but it was only ever really subtext, and I just kind of assumed it would stay that way. It was ballsy of them to portray a male rape survivor in a way that the rape is central to his story, particularly his romance.
