He wasn't playing as aggressive in the bubble but his jumper especially from 3 got a lot better. No more stank leg on the ground 3s. He's actually jumping and his a good form. Slow release but with his height and length he can get away with it. I'm gonna chalk up the low aggressive play due to Nick not wanting him to get injured

I need more 30-pieces from Spicy P and maybe consistent double-doubles. Thing I love about him though is no matter how bad his shooting game is, the energy and hustle is always there.

I love this guy and always feel good when he is on the floor. It's kinda funny but last year, while I was working overseas, in central Asia, one of my colleagues was a Warriors fan. I bluntly said that they should fear the Raptors, and he doubted that a team of just Kawhi could win. I said it's not just Kawhi, it's the whole team, and especially Siakim. Every week when I saw him for the rest of the season, I slowy said, Pas-cal Si-akim, MIP and future all star! He might have thought that I was crazy before that but not now. Thank you Siakim, Kawhi, Lowry, VP, and the whole team too, including Powell, Ibaka, Gasol, and probably a few other guys will be future all stars, Boucher? Davis? Thomas? who knows. Nick Nurse too, thank you too. And the rest of the staff: Masai (impressive man). I'm leaving names out that deserve more.

Interestingly enough the in these clips Siakam has 2 distinctly different forms he takes when shooting his 3s. In the games he had decent shooting splits his feet were closer together and he went straight up and down. In the other he does the odd split legs and kicks one leg out and those are the games that his shooting splits are not good generally.

the only thing i see is sometimes hell try and do too much, or get frustrated and kind of just go at the other team without making the smart play, but thatll come w experience and he was a monster in the playoffs last year

I'm not too worried. He wasn't that bad, and the Raptors weren't running their best stuff for most of these games. He's shown he can get it done in the playoffs, and I'm confident he'll be back to looking like himself. I also think it's important to have realistic expectations for him - his season averages are 23 pts, 6 reb, 2.5 ast on 45/36/79 shooting. If he carries that tot the playoffs, that means there should be just as many games where he scores 16 points as there are games where he scores 30. It's easy to have high expectations when you've seen so many great things from him.

People need to understand. Last season he averaged 11pts a game and this year hes averaging 22pts. How much better can someone get in such a short time especially when its only his 4th year...Its a new roll and he cant always be perfect but i think he can be good enough for now and get way better in the future. Also he is a great defender even when his offense isnt going and that is part of the reason they can still win.
