Warriors fan here but love watching Pascal playing. Don't know him personally as the vast majority of human beings but judging by what I've seen, including this interview I think there's a lot to like in this young man and wish him all the best except another victory against the Warriors.

I’ve watched quite a few of Draymond’s shows before, but first time with a Raptor. Draymond is always genuine in these shows and a great interviewer. So whatever Draymond does on the court (the annoying things) doesn’t bother me. Good show Draymond. And Pascal is a great Raptor.

Being from Cameroon as well and getting into basketball at 14, one thing I can say is the footwork you have from soccer is key. Now obviously it doesn’t make it a seamless transition for everybody, and Siakam and Embiid are obviously one of ones, but when you have some of the other skills and talent like those guys, that footwork carries over amazingly. Kobe trained with soccer players for a reason. Olajuwon soccer base, even a guy like Luka has that footwork down pat being from Slovenia

Listen Kawhi leaving Toronto and Durant leaving Golden State had one thing in common. Both players went to highly dysfunctional places when they could have easily run it back without all the chaos they went through. Also they probably would each be wearing at least another ring in that time.

Torronto ? another ring? The only reason they won one was because KD and Klay got injured. Even without KD warriors had a chance if Klay didn't get hurt. To act like winning one ring makes them comparable to warriors is laughable. Durant left warriors that has gone on and won another chip. Raptors have not even come close to sniffing once since.

@@Project_N89 classic salt, raptors wrecked the durant less warriors, the warriors won their two games by barely anything 5 points in game 2 and one point in game 5. The raptors blew out the warriors in games 1,3 and 4 in which Klay participated in except game 3. Raptors were up 3-2 winning game 6 is not a foregone conclusion for the warriors. Considering no KD for 2019-2020 season and no Klay until 2022 season raptors would have had a serious chance for another ring, and the warriors also would have another chance as well.

@@PAPADRACOLIN am not salty or diminishing raptors but it was just unfortunate that warriors lost klay in a close game and then entire game 6 to add on top of durant being out the entire series. Raptors without Kawhi is what exaclty? A midtable team that was never getting a sniff. Warriors without Durant still a formidable team with a chance to still compete. Your original post is oxymoron because raptors even with kawhi was never beating warriors with KD. So no kawhi was not going to have another ring if everyone KD was healthy.

The lowkey funniest thing about Skills is that he doesn't know anything about basketball history before 2016. Imagine meeting Shaq and just kinda knowing vaguely who he is. 3 times as many people watch the Raptors than the Leafs now. Yes Canada is a hockey country but we are also very multicultural. Born and bread white Canadians typically love hockey but now everyone else are Raps fans. If you have never been to a Raps game or Toronto in general you will be shocked by the diversity - typical white Canadians do not make up the majority. a point of pride for many of us.

Things like how All-NBA selections can affect the max contract a player is allowed to sign is insane, it's asinine. They need to get rid of the super-max rule and, you know what, get rid of the idea of max-contract altogether. Keep the salary cap, but let players be paid how much ever a team is willing to pay them. It's gonna be chaotic at first but eventually the free market will prevail and guys will be paid what they're worth.

There's bias in every single aspect of life. You have a favourite shoe... a best friend... you like the shorter one ... hence voting being a "majority rules" endeavor. Draymond also said there's something wrong with All Star voting, and proceeded to suggest the fix be the exact process currently being used. 🤷🏾‍♂️ ...and what Agent in what era in what sport has existed and didn't use accomplishments as a bargaining tool? You have to use something. And a person with 1% of the vote isn't going to be the final decision maker.

what if each organization(gm, coaches, and players only) got 1 vote for nba awards? i.e. they all have to vote within that organization and whoever's gets majority vote from that organization gets that 1 vote. bc we can't leave it to the fans and players, we know how they vote for all stars... and on top of that, the vote has to be based solely on, let's say an eligible top 5-10 mvp candidates list only to rule out random players from being voted in.

In Australian Rules Football the MVP or Best & Fairest, as we call it, is voted by the Refs on a game by game basis. If you get a suspension you are ineligible. I wonder if Draymond would prefer that system.
