Pasig River Esplanade Phase 1C Update
The Pasig River Esplanade Phase 1C was inaugurated .This project is a part of the Pasig River Urban Development Showcase Area at Plaza Mexico, Magallanes Drive in Intramuros,the 25-kilometer development project, which is part of the ongoing “Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli” project.
Phase 1C introduced a one-story structure with a roof deck along the Pasig River, featuring a three-meter wide walkway flanked by leasable commercial spaces at the ground level and a combination of a walkway, bike lane and viewing area on the roof deck.
It will encompass over 30 commercial stalls equipped with modern amenities, including sewage treatment, individual electric and water meters, fire protection and public restrooms.
The structures will use renewable energy and promote other ecological practices aligned with the environmental protection and conservation strategies of the government.
The additional 250-meter development connecting the existing esplanade from Jones Bridge to Plaza Mexico and Fort Santiago marks the completion of the 500-meter showcase area of the Manila Old Downtown Segment.
the ongoing “Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli” project, the newly inaugurated Phase 1C features pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, commercial zones, and green spaces that are expected to drive local economy and tourism through food and retail stalls, walkways, bike lanes, and boardwalk.

pagpalain ng maykapal ang ilog pasig ,,, nattuwa ang inang kalikasan may isang ibon na lumilipad sana sa darating sa panahon mas marami pang ibang na lipad jan dhil buhay na muli ang ilog pasig . AMEN O

I prefer Pasig River's rehabilitation more than constructing a skyway along the river.

tatapusin muna ang area sa manila city, yung area ng city hall at ng malacanang, tapos yung area naman ng makati city at mandaluyong city na magkatapat lang sila maganda pag naayos yung sa guadalupe, then ang next yung sa taguig naman, pero matagal pa yan, kasi ang haba ng sakop ng manila city. hindi kasama ang malacanang dyan dahil sa safety issue ng malacanang kaya baka di lalagyan ng spalanade dyan, kaialangan kasi open at walang structures sa palibot ng malacanang along pasig river for easy monitoring kung sakaling may lulusob sa malacanang gamit ang pasig river as entry point. saka para di masira ang original view na unobstructed. kaya walang matataas na mga building sa opposite side ng malacanag along pasig river, para maiwasan ang mga snipers.

kailangan kasi maging walkable ang binondo at intramuros, di na kailangan sumakay pa, healthy lifestyle, walk as much a possible, no traffic exercise pa.

Dapat seguro lagyan ng floating barrier yung ilalim ng tulay para di maipom yun mga water lilies at msa madali linisin ng mga skimmer boats

Dapat linisin muna nila yang Pasig (o may ongoing maintenance) at gawing habitable tulad nung panahon ng Kastila at Amerikano para pwedeng mangisda.

I think it’s phase 1b-c , b is the bottom and c is the second level. It’s just like floors e.g 1st floor and so on. So the very first phase is only a, that make sense to you? ask the proper person maybe you can have a better answer. If the other side is phase 1a and b, too short whereas the other side is long and with a second floor. By the by water hyacinth can control flooding like bamboo it can absorb 95% of rain water. Thanks for the update

pag natapos yan mas maganda na yan compare sa splanade ng singapore, which is napaikli lang at isang area lang sila yung sa may marina sands paikot lang sila sa manmade na lake.

Tama ka po. Parang paulit ulit lang Kasi paikot lang at paulit ulit lang din Yung makikita kagaya ng merlion na statue at Yung 3 buildings na may parang barko sa ibabaw.

May mga restrooms bang ginawa para sa phase na yan? .ahorap naman kung walang CR dyan lalo na sa mga babae.. senior at bata. DPat may bukod na cr para sa babae at lalaki.

Pangit yung landscaping ng Phase 1C lalo na yung sa may paakyat ng hagdan at tulay pa Jones Bridge, parang minadali pinatong lang yung Lupa at halaman sa semento di man lang nilagyan ng planter box pag bumaha dyan ma wash out yung lupa at halaman sana hindi pa yun final design nila.
