Hey Jimmy, I have been reading a Book called " FIVE FAMILIES" AUTHOR; SELWYN RAAB & On pages 648+ 649 [ The Bath Avenue Boys are located in the index] it mentions.Anthony Spero & Joseph Benanti.[ It mentions you Guys as young, Trigger Happy] it mentions " Big Apple Car Service".This book has about 800 pages and was [ A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER] You Guys were No Joke. Thankyou Jimmy for your Awesome RU-vid Videos.👍
Your stories are brilliant, Jimmy. Over here in the UK, it's great to hear about the not so well known mob guys instead of endless tales about Capone, Luciano, Lansky, Costello, Giancana, and Gotti all the time. Keep up the good work, JC. Peace and love ✌️💜
Nothing better than a Bath Av Story! Thank You So Much For Sharing These Stories. Gods Watching Over You.. Many Many Blessings To You and Your Beautiful Family. The Good Your Doing is Immeasurable. 🙏🏻
Hey Jimmy. Excellent, well done podcast with a message always behind it. You're truly blessed & keep telling it like it is in this world. May God always be with you. Doug
You were 15 in 1984 and you are about a year older than me but I was in middle America suburban in Bloomington Minnesota in Kenmedy high school which was like the Breakfast Club. The world you were in was just a night and day difference and I had no way to imagine that a world like yours even existed back then. I had been living in Vegas and working for people from Boston. It's great to see a real guy who has been there. Sometimes the history is interesting but unless you have any experience with similar folks the fear is something you can't know unless you are close. I have known about you and the history of your compatriots but you are for real and it's amazing to listen to your experience. God bless you
This was great, but some sad stories. All those pictures, the boys look so young....like little kids. Bunch of good looking kids too. Glad you made it out of there. The family secrets you told were definitely surprising! Take care.
I don't think I ever heard that term "fuhgeddaboudit" used by anyone during the entire run of the Sopranos tv show. It is strictly a local Brooklyn thing?
Hey jimmy I got to catch up god bless parts of where my aunt and cousins lived in St. Louis was controlled by the mob it was the safest neighborhood in the city
Your stories from the early eighties brings back memories from growing up in Ozone Park Queens. Just when Gotti became boss and had his club house on 101st Ave (safest neighborhood I ever lived in). I can remember when our friends worked at Keyfood and we used to go in the back of the market and punch holes in the whole watermelons that had gotten delivered that afternoon (no video cameras back then).
Jimmy!!! Excellent!!! Glad you decided to improv. This is one of your best and the photos really bring it to life. Engaging!!! Great Saturday surprise. Thanks bro. Appreciate much. Have a safe wonderful evening. Lvya bro
Jimmy those bath Beach stories are awesome bull even said you young guys were a little more bad then Sammy's rampers you relive your past stories like the bull keep up the great work not just kids you are reaching but also us old guys trying to get out your message is easy get out now today because tomorrow death or prison tomorrow to late
Pennisi is a legit coward and stool pigeon though. Jimmy did what he had to do to avenge his best friend and reclaim his life. Jimmy has my utmost respect. Pennisi not so much.
Jimmy, these stories where great. I know you where very close to your good friend's Paulie G and little Georgie Adamo and you really miss them and have great memories together growing up through the years in Brooklyn.👍👍👍👍.
Jimmy - wow, thanks for the warning about the evil mofos out there. . I wish you prosperity amd and happiness to you and your children . I watch every video you put out like a lot of others.
Jimmy Mac! I love all the stories man. I’m in Jersey and grew up around DeCavalcante, Genovese, Gambino, and Luchesse guys. I used to sit and listen to all the war stories of so many gangsters from the social clubs on 21st Ave and Cianci st who are all passed away now or in nursing homes shuffling around with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. If possible I’d love to invite you to Jersey for a espresso ☕️ and a nice lunch someday. Maybe when the weather breaks. I knew Tino Fiumara Personally and my grandparents from Brooklyn originally knew Don Carlo and Dellacroce. My grandfather and his brothers were good friends with Fat Andy Ruggiano. One of my grandfathers brothers who was killed in Korea ran numbers for The Mad Hatter himself. 😉 😉 😉
Love your videos Jimmy, thanks for telling your stories I love your messages, the photos are fantastic to go along with your stores, God bless you brotha & God first.

This is my grandfather Pat, I'm peteys daughter We had the candy store on bay 11 street. The dog rocky who sat on the green Pontiac and wouldn't allow any black people walking pass Stacy's car service. Fireworks out of garage his son Joey. I met Petey box cars back in the early 90s. I was clerking for mickey bats and good looking sal's bookmaking operation in Howard Beach. It was run out of an apartment on Cohancey Street. They paid me $800 a week cash for 15 hours of answering the phone and another $200 to tally the totals on Sunday night. I then had to bring the paper work on Monday morning to Tom's on the bay diner on Cross Bay Blvd. We got yelled at all the time by bats cause we didn't lay off enough action on games that lost. Always second guessed! Lol. I also worked at a tout service owned by bats out in Babylon long Island. it was easy work and the pay was good but mickey bats had a short fuse and got mad cause I was making more $ than he was at the tout service. He said what did I do?? Open a business to give you a fucking job to make more $ than me??? He wasn't happy. They gave me a 50% commission so I kept half the take with zero expenses. Bats had to pay salaries, taxes, phone bill, rent on the building we worked out of,etc. It was a fun time and I was making 10k a month between the 2 jobs but you were never right!! It's funny listening to the show cause I was around Bonanno guys and I recognized some names Jimmy mentioned!!
Jimmy it sounds like Tommy Pitera did alot for you and your crew as kids I've only ever heard negative things about him but he's a fascinating guy and it sounds like he really looked out for yous, great video keep them coming from Glasgow, Scotland 🏴
Jimmy, Have you ever Watched a Podcast called [ O.C. Shorts.?] The videos are mostly under 12 minutes, and The Host doesn't interview people or go on Live. The guy has an English Accent. It's a cool show that covers every Family going back to when it was the " PROFACI FAMILY" & THE LUCIANO FAMILY LATER BECAME THE GAMBINO FAMILY & PROFACI FAMILY BECAME " COLOMBOS" Forgive me if I have that backwards!!! One Story was so Damn sick!! Jimmy do you remember the " Mobster who cut a Mobsters " Jewels off and forced him to swallow his own Jewels and he choked to Death. That made me feel Lightheaded and thought that is SICK!!!!!
The 90s were the last of the real days real gangsters on all levels Cosa Nostra the Columbians the Dominicans. The skunk and the chocolate tie stick wow what memories 91, 92 ,93 ,. God bless you Jimmy stay true.
If you want to take someone down quick or immobilize someone really quick stick your thumbs in their eye or fish hook their eye and they ain't going to be doing nothing but what you say
Hey Jimmy, I grew up on Stillwell Ave but went out with a girl on Bay 22nd and Bath in the mid 80’s. There were 2 brothers that used to live on Bay 22 and Bath on the corner across from Greg’s Inn Bar. Pat and Albie were their names. They were nuts. Did you know them ? Any stories? They were always in trouble. I think they may have gotten killed, don’t remember.
Salute on this FINE NY..Day my friend i see your inn good spirits...Love you too kid...jimmy i love eating meatballs and rigatonis.and listening too you..peace jimmy
After spending some time listening to and watching other Vlogs about crime and the life. It seems that most guys that got clipped were led to their deaths by the people they trusted, grew up with, and loved. Especially if the target was a guy with his head on a swivel always looking around and being aware of who was there and who was approaching him. So the higher-ups always got the people they were close to, to do the deed.
Jimmy speaking of playing football with Mikey scars I got one. We were playing ball in the expo league on the concrete with Mike Ali as the QB. It was the end of the game and we needed to score so my friend Gus come into the huddle and taps Mikey on the shoulder to get out so he can get in. Mikey scars looks at mike Ali and says " Does this guy know I put people in the ground for a living" . Gus just turned around and went back to the sidelines
We used to do knuckles with quarters. When you lost you made a fist then you put knuckels down on the table the other person being a hand width away from you knuckles takes the quarter and slides it across the table as hard as you can you do it right it will cut you up bad
