Remember when we were told that the only way we'd get a Mando with softgoods cape was with the Razor Crest? Yeah, each of these figures is coming in the regular TVC line.
I'm sure that they didn't create those new molds only to release them 1 time. Be patient and we can all add them somewhere down the road. Nice rant Vern.
The Yak Face that came with the Sail Barge is $150-$250 on eBay, meanwhile he's been reissued since then. The Tonnika Sisters will be $200 figures each in a year alone.
I agree with all your points. It’s very frustrating because this could have been an epic set that sold 100s of thousands of units had they just presented it differently…. The figures are definitely the main thing. Greedo 6.0 as the first tier was a bone head move. All of these should have been new cantina aliens. Arleil was a good one since he was cut from the movie and no one ever expected to be a figure ever. Like the tonnika sisters, they should have mace aliens that would have destined to be peg warmers in the set.
I wanted to call you a buster and wanted to show shade! Probably because I lost my collection in 2018 due to the paradise fire! I love this set and wanted to get all the tiers! Not sure it will happen! But your love is your love! I am buying both sets show I can open the figures and the tannika figures will go crazy! I am 55 so for me this was the best set ever! Hope you get a set you want!
sorry to hear that you had to go through that wildfire, i totally know what thats like having been evacuated and having losses back in the Harris Fire. I totally can see this set being a centerpiece for some i just wish there were a few more options. i'll definitely be looking for some booths.

I think you covered everything! I'm out for pretty much the same reasons. I didn't have many playsets as a kid, I've always been more about the ships and I guess that's still the same now!
I think it was smart that the Jabba playset was sold as a pulse exclusive and not a haslab, this could have been broken down and sold as three players. In that case the band might have a place to play.
Good video here. I think your reasons are valid, however, consider that a lot of research went into this and even though it looks unfinished, it kinda has a movie set vibe to it, which I like. I think that if anyone is on the fence and doesn’t back it, they will regret it. The price is right too if you take into account that 6 figures (all tiers) is over $100 in value. So, yes, research, development, lots of plastic, marketing, art, etc. all costs money and no way that it would ever be in the $100-$125 range for alcoves and the like.
I also think if your in the fence go for it. The figures alone will be worth more than the total cost for sure! I know that it’s either back it or buy those booths on the after market and I did consider it. I like the way you look at it as a “movie set” that’s cool.
The fact that you're able to break down the cantina like in the scene with Han and Greedo lets say on one shelf like you have and then on another the shelf you can seperate the bar keep and create the scene with Luke and Obi with the driods. Yes i would breakdown the set up like you mentioned earlier.
Yeah I really debated this with myself over the weekend. I just couldn’t see the bat sitting alone and still giving the sense of the cantina with out at least a backdrop. I guess I could Print something.
Just four tables and chairs are going for 125 custom made! Inflation sucks! For me it’s a value and I may buy one more to sell for two or three thousand in five years to get my money back
I've been waiting a long time for the cantina , I'll buy lights if that's needed,,but I do agree with opening up the sister,that's a hard one,plus they should have thrown all the figures in ,,with the price,but I am backing it , regardless it's beautifully sculpted and so detailed it's a must 💯but all the reasons your talking about really don't make sense except the part about opening up the sisters,💯

I am vintage collection collector and I definitely won’t not be buying this either and it’s doesn’t not even worth a lot of money just for a toy so I can say it’s isn’t worth it at all and I can say that hasbro is a joke as well
The fact that you said you are not a vintage collector says it all. It’s not for you. It’s for the most committed die hard fans in Star Wars fandom and they are the TVC. Hands down. Hasbro won’t touch a black series HasLab because they know black series fans won’t and don’t support HasLabs, they only talk shit about them kinda like what you’re doing now. When the EVO was launched all the Hasbro haters jumped on RU-vid and made their hate videos about the project and what that did is fuck the people that really wanted it. That’s what you’re doing now shitting on the people who want this. If you don’t want then don’t buy but your reasoning for not getting it is irrelevant. 1: I backed the Rancor, the EOV both failed not because of the maybe 200 people who watched my videos, but thank you for thinking I have so much sway. You almost had a good argument then you decided to attack one persons opinion, and that’s where it ended.
