Most the gangs come on 25mm bases, only really the Goliaths and Corpse Grinders that come on 32s

I think there would have been more value to a wider spectrum of people if there were 2 new gangs in the box. A lot of people already have a set of orlocks so theres an immediate sting in value there. Should have done squats vs nomads. It is also clear that each gang is going to get ANOTHER book each for their vehicle rules. Its just getting too much. They should have wrapped all gang vehicle rules into one book to make that more appealing too. I love necromunda but i think im drawing the line here. I can see a lot of people leaving the game now unfortunately. Hopefully they still make all of the characters that havent yet been released from previous books still. I’ll stay in the underhive and skip the ash wastes

the first orange, black or brown templates from thw 80s to late 90s/early 2k's actually also where flexible ones. The first of the harder plastic was the 5th edition set of green plastic. i like the box, but they could have made the battlefield-tiles out of cardboard and not paper.....

Something about the quads just looks off to me, I did a quick edit on Paint and they look way better as trikes in my opinion.

I bought my copy of Ashen waist on Amazon for 156.00 with tax 163.00 I was regretting and was about to Cancel the order so glad I didn't the cadia stands box went down to 98.00 on Amazon

All I see is some minis, books and terrain. I love the box contents, but heeeeel no i am gonna spend that amount on money for it. GW terrain prices are through the roof. First warcry box was 150 and had same amount of content. People simply don't have that amount of money on the side. I have been buying GW products voor more than 18 years and this is the first time I am reducing my buys and looking more to third party's and other mini games. especially what they did to the community the last years.

Why I passed on this was the lack of rules for other gangs that use vehicles in the rulebook, such as Genestealer Cults. I don’t care for the terrain either and will just convert up the Fronteris Terrain to have walkways and interiors.

I've bought everything GW put out for Necromunda, I bought FOUR boxes of Dark Uprising.. I've since moved on to 3d printing, GW can swallow this for 299 retail and hopefully choke on it as well. I'll buy the rulebook amd take it from there.. amd probably just print what I want and ignore the plastic at this point. I also don't care about the terrain that much either

I already have orlocks painted, I'll sell those for $35. The game mat and tactics cards I'll sell off for another $40. I paid $255 for the boxed set, so $180 is my actual investment.

The only thins I see off on your estimated cost breakdown is the terrain. There is no way this terrain is going to sell for $120 when/if it comes out separately. I would say closer to $200. Gang Stronghold is 5 sprues and this is 9. Now is that a fair price? Hell no, but it is what it is. So based on that pricing, there is a "deal" as if everything bought separately would take us closer to over $400. I don't think we will ever get a deal like Dark Uprising again but then again let's wait and see what the price is going to be for Horus Heresy

Right now, you can buy two 'Hive War' boxes and have enough left over to buy a box of the Ash Waste Nomads (if you can't do without them) for the same price. So that's enough minis for three gangs (two very well optimised), two lots of scenery, two boards (proper boards, not a glossy paper sheet), two lots of dice, books and templates. No official price on Horus Heresy, but they've said it'll be 'under £200' (so even at $199, that's maybe $330-340) and it'll have enough for a full army for one person As they're both GW products, that's as close to 'Apples to Apples' as you're going to get. No matter which way you look at it, the value on this box is appalling....

Most necromunda players kitbash or convert, i personally use Stargrave kits, for £20 per kit usually containing 10 or 20 models can't be argued against

They came out a year or so ago with a PC Necromunda Underhive, that is fantastic to play solo or against the AI, or players. Too bad they stopped supporting it with more DL content. This box is typical of GW OVERPRICED TRASH NOBODY WANTS. Save your money.. let GW EAT THIS.

That game was broken dogshit and plays nothing like Necromunda. The first person Necromunda game was better however.
