Thanks I currently have my bike permit with 19 hours on it for 605 miles. I currently need to do my first tuneup in which I wish I could give it myself but I’m not that confident I’m a baby learning 200.Duke regret buying the bike, but for now I will do in regards to the test and get service and anxious and I can’t concentrate properly until I’m fully relaxed. I watched a bunch of videos and basically just looks like they’re gonna check my signals my switches, and then make me drive straight line, slow speed, more faster, speed without going out of the lines and without falling and then it looks like counterclockwise twice or swerve between the cones and then come counterclockwise. Come back in the line then it looks like they have me go back in the lines opposite direction twice and then come straight back out, but I’m going to San Isidro DMV tomorrow because the DMV is completely packed and I never been to San Isidro, I will try to drive tonight just to see what it looks like

Yes, another tip, make sure to follow the directions they give you, if you are unclear ask them to repeat. Especially when going in and out of the cones.

Don’t convince her, just go out and find a good deal and show up with it and tell her it’s hers! That’s what I did with Kathy, and she loves it. Took her a few tries to pass the riding test but this practice session was great for her.

Yea all bike whether large or small should be ridden the same way to achieve maximum control on it. Ride safe!!!

Just went to DMV after hours on a Grom to practice. First few times was fail. But eventually after an hour succeeded 5 in a row. Trick for me was to take off bulky gloves and use barehand for better throttle clutch, and watch out for ground sloping and add power to exit the last circle part. My test is tomorrow morning.

I’ll he honest I don’t remember 100%, but I don’t think that is required. But likely if the high beam isn’t working, it’s your bulb, or the high beam fuse. Pretty easy fix…

@@Cheyene805 I passed. It was harder that I thought based on how small the turning circle is and you have to continuously give it some throttle vs coasting …

Lots of feathering the clutch and light braking.

If you take the cmsp course you will not have to do this test!

Once u pass the Cmsp course you’ll have to wait for 6 months before they release the ID, my son is currently waiting for the 6 month period,he’s 19 though not sure if both applies to 21 above

Fastest way to get it and cheapest is 21 and up use a small bike like this at dmv. Only costs 38 dollars to add an m1 to your current class C license

That fee includes the written permit test and the lollipop test m1 test

Yes of course you can, you can use anything with a license plate. As small as a 50cc scooter to a bagger Harley.

The only thing categorized for an M2 is “mopeds”. Basically a bicycle with a motor. This allows kids 16 years old to get an M2 to ride it. M1 is needed for motorcycles (anything over 149cc) and motor-driven cycles (anything under 149cc).0

Hey, no this is the dmv in Hillcrest. The DMV in Claremont is locked when the DMV is closed, so if you are going to practice you’ll have to go to this one.

I have vrod that is too big and too heavy for me to test. Do you know where can I rent the small one? Thanks

There is no rules in what gear you ride in, or whether you use a scooter with an cvt (auto) clutch.

Yes sir, for the riding test. You’ll have a written test for your temp license. And need to take the riding test within 1 year.

@@johnnyDang223 wouldn’t underestimate the test, you have a tight circle and a narrow lane to keep your wheels within, can trip you up quickly. I took it on a KtM 1290 SAS and I was full lock handlebar and leaning hard to make that circle. Cone weave gave me an arm workout.

I think even with this Honda Grom she was leaning a bit from the riders view. The circle is 22ft diameter corresponding to 2.4 x standard parking space
