Passing 25 Riders in 2 laps at Sonoma on a RC390

B group was totally full on 06/24/24 at Sonoma Raceway. This is a couple laps early in a session weaving through the field of mostly big bikes in my 2023 RC390. No video game could ever compare, and what a great way to work on race craft and passing. Counted 25 passes in these two laps, too fun to be legal ha. Thank you Z2 Track Days for an amazing event!

I could do that. Yeah, sure I could. He did it without putting any other riders in an danger. Perfect example of planning ahead for every more. As for me, I'm 71 so I'll stick to cruising the South Carolina country side on my Harley at 45mph. Those go fast days are behind me. Had a Kawasaki 500 H1 in 1970. Rocket ship!

Have you made a video of the mods you have done to your bike to make it track ready? I looked through your channel, but did not see anything. There is not a lot of information out there on the 2022 - 2024 RC 390's. I was particularly interested in any mods to the forks, shock, and braking system.

What are your thoughts on the new surface? I've heard mixed reviews a little more towards the negative side. Just wondering if it is worth the trip from Oregon

You overtook 200+HP superbikes on the straight and at corner exits. What kind of snail-trail group was that 😆 Also, some bikes still had mirrors on. There was an SV650 in the mix. Wild for group B, unless you're with a provider where B is the second slowest class.

Man first sessions freight trains were crazy. Dunno why no one was passing. I was on the red Ninja 400.

Is some providers they ask that your lap time fall between a certain range. Some do not. 2:03 to 2:13 for Sonoma is the B+ bracket I’m aware of from carters @ the track. They run what seems to be a more racer/performance based program, their groups are B-, B+ and A(no c group.)
