I was in Ecuador for 3 months last year, and it was awesome. They got really nice food there and a beautiful nature, and the amazon rainforest too. I even ate Cavia, which tasted great. It's the most beautiful country i have ever been!
2019, hopefully, is the year that I go back to my wonderful Ecuador. It was too emotional to go back after I lost my mother. She will not be waiting at the airport but her spirit is there and she will be with me everywhere I visit.

I really liked the video but I missed many places to go as , cathedral, etc.. my country is very diverse and has much to offer besides its uniques wildlife and landscapes, which still do not quite know them all so very proud I'am also having galapagos islands where discovered evolution and changed the world. I love and I love being Ecuador Ecuador besides that we also have the best comedy channel (enchufe tv) thanks

Quito wasn't the first city which declared the independence from Spain in America. there were two which made it first: Chuquisaca, now named as Sucre, and Nuestra Señora de La Paz: Quito made it's revolution against Spain on August 1809, Sucre already did it the 25th May 1809, and Nuestra Señora de La Paz the 16th July 1809.
Ecuador is a beautiful country , I am proud of beign ecuadorian but I just like to point out some mistakes in this video , Quito is really high but is not the highest capital in the world it's Bolivia 4,000m possibly a bit more. The volcano on the way to the cable car used to be active not anymore that is called rucu Pichincha rucu means viejo. there is also the Guagua Pichincha guagua means nino but again its not active either. I love this video :):)

Anything that I should know when visiting Quito in April that is not covered by most websites? I see a few comments on Ecuador videos talking about tourist clothing but not sure what is good/respectful and what is not..
I see it but I remain skeptical about that leaf thing early on in the video ... according to the internet that toilet flushing thing about opposite direction of water flow is due to the design of the toilet bowl and not the hemisphere.
Yeah I've read that they're fixed to swirling certain directions and I've read that toilets are also known to swirl the same way as the do in the northern "Hemi-sphere". I guess the keep this lie going to "prove" that we live on a globe.
To do your own experiment simply fill sink with some water then wait a few mins to let water be still.(five mins )when you return very gently pull plug: hey presto water simply flows out, no swirling .....john. England.

I hate how they clump us all together "Latin America", "Latino" etc. Do we call Americans and Canadians Anglo-America, Anglos etc? No! They get to seem independent of each other but we don't. They can call us non Mexicans Mexican, but they are hell of offended when we call an American Canadian...I vote to get rid of the the Latino Identity, because I'm Colombian and Colombia is much different from Puerto Rico, Mexico, El Salvador, Argentina etc...
