I purchased the Bellroy Travel Wallet a while ago from one of your videos. Used it again recently on a trip. It not only worked phenomenally, the pen helped me one one time and it also caught a lot of eyes! Thanks Maurice!!
I use the Bellroy travel wallet too for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Using the MUJI passport Case the way you described is such a great idea :) Keep up the good work. Much appreciated.
Just got my passport and traveling abroad the first time at the start of the new year. Getting that wallet would be an awesome way to cut down on some of the costs related :)
guys trust me , single point of organization is also a single point of failure , keep your passport and money separate because if you loose one at lease you should have the other or you will become country less money less traveler
That's what they always say, but I grew annoyed having everything all over the place. I only use the travel wallet to and from the airport, in the city I usually just use a small wallet with only what I need. It also depends on where I'm headed, the safety considerations for Tokyo or Singapore is completely different from Paris or New York for example
@@VEVOJavier while travelling, i always keep my ID and passport separate, each with some money and a card , just in case if i loose one i can use other to identify myself to authorities or consulate
Amazing video! I've been using a Victorinox passport holder for around 10 years now, and while it's on the bulkier side, it's also very handy to store documents and currency at home
I love my Bellroy Travel Wallet! I got it a few months back. I also use it to store folded documents (like my ESTA confirmation) and it's still very compact.
I've recently picked up a few other Bellroy items and I have been impressed by each of them, I've been considering an upgrade to my passport wallet and this video came at a great time. thanks for sharing.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kisluxbag leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I am a massive traveler, and I 100% need a secure place for an AirTag. I have misplaced my passport more than once so having a place to track it is a must.
Dude you are so awesome. I love your videos, they just make me want to go travel more and more. Have a blast in Europe. I do need a new travel wallet. These seem like some fun options. 😎
Have fun in Switzerland. Lived there for a year in my early 20s doing design work and it was a life changing experience to say the least. Try out some of their local wines as they don't really export them and most are kept domestic. Also if you can get into the mountains, the air is magical 😂
When I renewed my US passport and chose the 50-page version, my standard passport case did not flap completely around the thicker passport. Glaser Designs will custom make a case to your specifications. For me that meant a business card size sleeve for my Global Entry card in front of a larger sleeve for my 5x2.5-inch note cards. It was not cheap but a beautiful leather addition to my business EDC.
A little unorthodox as far as travel wallets go, but I really love my Maxpedition Micro. Has Molle, straps on the inside, and compartmentalized slots for anything else you might need
a useful companion for this is any coin purse with multiple pockets. useful for countries where coins are still in wide use, like jp or ph. (esp ph since there are two versions of 1,5, and 10 coins in criculation so you can't just feel the diff)
I agree. While most people these days are leaning towards cashless transactions, there are still many instances/areas where coins are more frequently circulated.
Your videos are amazing!! You are an amazing seller. I'm pretty sure you can sell a frizer to an eskimo🤣I already bought the travel planner and the Aer day sling bag. Thank you so much for the wonderful products you offer. They are very useful.
Seems that you missed linking the giveaway rules? I found it tho so I’m hopeful. I don’t travel very often. Twice a year or so. It would be nice to try a solution designed for travel.
While I like the Bellroy wallet, the price is a little too steep for me. The slim pouch featured first is nice because of its organizational factor and option to NOT use it as a waist pack makes it versatile. I recently visited a muji store and saw the same passport case...I'm still on the fence about purchasing it since I have a case that's almost similar to it (just minus the binder rings).
Thank you for the insight. Definitely a great idea to have multiple slots ... I'm not sure which one would be a great choice? I believe the first has more storage options..
I am assembling a stationary EDC. I request you to please suggest me - 1) Glue sticks or liquid glue which can be used repeatedly 2) Compact stapler 3) Transparent sticky tape
I switched away from a Folio type item where I had my passport. Found it took up too much space in my backpack. Prefer something closer to the size of the passport.
What a great video!!!!! That muji is great for organization and maybe even as the main passport wallet. I travel with my spouse so the bellboy folio might be good. How much money does it hold? I like the bellboy travel wallet but I dont' think it is the best for two passports. I debated and ended up getting an alpaka which is cool but I am not sure if it is perfect. I find this area one of the most difficult to find the perfect product.
As great as these passport wallets are, they tend to be one use items. I’d rather use something like the Alpaka Zip Clutch since it can be used for EDC as well as international travel.
Been eyeing the Bellroy travel wallet for years but it’s just a bit too expensive for me. I like the Muji one too but I feel like the binder rings are too bulky. If they can reduce the size it will be perfect.
Do you ever carry a backup or decoy wallet? I'm not sure putting passport and cash together in one main wallet is the safest option. I often keep my passport in a separate place and cash in a separate place, and credit cards separate too. That way if one is stolen or lost there are backup options.
i am not at all comfortable putting all important stuff in 1 thing. Passport and a card separate. Remaining cards and partial cash separate. Forget about thieves I might forget it myself somewhere😢. Need to split in different places
for starters you are right ... your recommendation is totally 180 degree off what I do/like/think. the very first thing is to ask yourself business or leisure cause in business you will only take the essentials and i mean bare essentials with the main focus on your laptop and/or your few sheets of proposal. Leisure however shifts the focus to you, this makes a vast difference in what you will carry ... a simple example would be that belroy crap in not a good choice for leisure travel likewise that muji nonsense bag is too much till it becomes a hassle for a business traveler. Lastly purely my opinion, a one bag traveler is also known as poor planning, poverty striken homeless traveler. dont you think about contigency plan ? One bag peep are the ones who always ask to loan stuffs and inconvenience others on a travel (hate those friends/colleague real pest!) a good basic traveler setup would be an 18-20" luggage with a backpack with your core items (money, gadgets etc) an ideal traveler setup would have 2 luggage (seperated equally all items in each bags) + a backpack with your core items (money, gadgets etc)
I have similar passport wallet for travelling and love the Muji Passport Case! I didn't know it existed, and just checking their website now it's no longer listed. Maybe it's discontinued?
I like the idea of a travel folio, but if it gets lost or stolen, you've lost everything! Possibly safer to spread passport, money, travel docs around your luggage and pockets
It would be nice to hear about the apps that you think are necessary for frequent travellers to get access to lounges in airports or accumulate points from hotels or car rentals and so on
