Haha, puppy AND candy. That has gotta work. For me to wonder into a strange van it would have to say on the sides, "Free Tools" or "Free Shop Ceiling Lights" or maybe "Free ShopVac"!
I love how you dig into the details on your vehicles. You seem to find all the neat little random things that I would have never even noticed. The icing on the cake is that "C" handle on the back. Would have NEVER noticed that - that did not belong. Very cool! Keep up the great work!
To be honest I don't remember "vanning" meets in the '70's. I bet this was owned by a hippie that wanted to stand out a little from the crown and also wanted to go faster than the VW vans could at the time.
I Remember very little from the 70's ;-). I think the changes you made have definitely been for the better. As for the "C", I think that stands for Chris. With help from some mushrooms the previous owner could foresee where the van would end up...
Another awesome Greenbrier video. I was born in 1973, so I'm too young to remember the "vanning" craze of the 70s. However, I've seen pics of vas of the late 60s and early 70s that have been customized into some weird and impressive looking vans on the planet!
I would have left the lights on it. And most definitely the air horns! But of course, I am a retired trucker. LOL. And yes, Chris. Life was a lot of fun in the seventies! 😉
Nice video man. I like your collections of vehicles, the past and the present. Seeing this van reminded me of the good old days when life was simple and beautiful.
@@hullinger I prefer the 1968 6-cylinder cars. I think towards the end of production you had more models to choose from. I know there was a station wagon in there somewhere. But, can't remember what year it was introduced.
