many people dont know the whole scenario about export import, dear friends out the total 450+billion dollar import each year around 100 billion is for crude oil and petroleum only rest 350billion+ is on other goods which is also around the same that we export so that way if the govt can only find alternatives to this 100 billion import India will have lot more capital to increase the infra projects, but sadly govt is working extremely slowly

Bhai lemme tell u an honest thing I might sound rude but it will definitely make sense when I say it. There is no country in the world which can eliminate poverty because if the poverty is totally eliminated then inflation rate would be too high and at the end of the day if a poor person earns 40k per month too it would be like the inflation would be such that he would still be poor we can't eliminate poverty but we can minimise it....I am really sorry I may sound rude it it's the truth.. but I support Modi govt.. too jai hind and stay safe everyone.. India is gonna grow definitely.........

And one more thing, extreme poverty has many standards. Indian standards for extreme poverty is almost 30% that of the global standards like World Bank's $1.9/day and UN's $1.25/day. At such standards, a person can't afford anything other than just the basic necessities of life like food and clothes barely. This ensures that a person doesn't fall below a dignified standard of humankind.

I am sorry but you have presented a Short sighted view when u refer to indian govts infrastructure drive their objectives are to improve 2 things Logistics and Power now if u think with infrastructure they can overpower other countries to attract industries here and make it an industrial powerhouse it is only a pipe dream(That is the objective actually which is evident in PLI Scheme) but they are many other factors that inhibit our growth making it unprofitable for companies to set up factories in india - 1) Cheap Avail of power not available due to cross subsidization. 2) Labour Laws still complex for large companies. 3) SEZ uncompetitive 2 taxes applicable - MAT,DDT 4) Logistics still expensive and slow there will be no overnight improvement it took china 10-15 years to build a resilient logistics that too with a communist govt 5) Complex Land Acq 6) MSMEs of India Uncompetitive to absorb competition in global market(All Assembly lines avail in china) 7) Tax Uncertainities in India and pending intl tax issues 8) India out of RCEP no benefit to Companies 9) Proudctivity is very low in india The govt basically is taxing very highly because it wants to finance infra projects but that hurts industries imagine when there Chinese high speed rails to move goods around why would companies want to move to India where despite Dedicated freight corridor the avg speed will be 40-50 MPH modi govt is trying to do good things i agree but its beyond our capacity any amount of infra projects will help no doubt but dont have very high expectations and modi govt should work on economy to provide temporary reliefs else it will lose to third front + Congress in 2024😂

if you are just walking gradually then it does not matter how much your gdp would be after some years bcoz population is even faster but if you want to counter poverty then you have to walk faster to increase the average income(per gdp capita) of a common person like China did in last 20 years.

Some people blindly blame NEHRUJI for today's problems and India's slow economic growth, but they don't understand the situation then in 1950s, NEHRUJI was a visionary, when after Independence ,whole world said that INDIA will not survive and will disintegrate, our visionaries like Nehru, Patel, Shastriji, etc... they made our country a stable democratic republic, credit also goes to our visionary scientists and civil servants of that time. we gave universal adult franchise, voting right to every adult in 1950s ,which some european so called developed countries did not have at that time.
