One of the best known and most popular dishes in Calabria are LAGANE and CECI. It is a fresh handmade pasta with ONLY WATER and FLOUR without Eggs topped with chickpeas! A sort of Tagliatelle and Chickpeas. The peculiarity lies in cooking the pasta directly in the chickpeas, you will see you will fall in love with it and you will do it often!
Ingredients: for 3 -4 people
200g Semolina flour
100ml warm water
Chickpeas (cooked chickpeas are fine too)
Celery, garlic, bay leaf, chilli pepper
Cherry tomatoes
Extra virgin olive oil
