The present video namely Pasting Surgery to make Giant Caudexed Adenium shows how four adenium seedlings are pasted together to make a giant caudex of desert rose. Adenium plant looks beautiful for its thick caudex. Adenium bonsai is popular for its caudex. So if four adenium seedlings are pasted together, the combined caudex will be gigantic. This video may be considered as a video on caudex treatment which is part of adenium care. Anyone interested in adenium flower plant may get some ideas to make adenium plant bonsai.

Using so much tape is not necessary. One round would be enough.

No one round tape is not enough as the purpose is to make it tight fix the coaduex n also protect from direCt water droplets while watering the plant...So it's necessary

How old your seedlings when you did this method? Do you think I can grow this method indoor? I am living in Canada and I don’t think they will survive during winter but I wanted to try to grow then indoor as my bonsai. Thank you🙏

Possibly they are 6-9 months old. Never do it in winter.As for indoor growing ,I think you should try to grow some adeniums in normal way then proceed to experiment.Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video. In which month/s of the year this grafting should be done? Kindly describe the potting mix used here - it looked different from that prescribed by you in other video, i.e., garden soil + sand + coco peat + vermicompost in equal proportions with little neem cake and bone dust.

@@sudhansuchakrabarti8961 I would assume you can do this year round depending on the temperature of your garden/greenhouse. The correct time would be more about the lunar cycle which for cuttings you have about 11 days to do this every month starting on the 3rd day after the new moon

No, only sprinkle water to moisten the soil.

For the first few days I only keep the soil moist by sprinkling water. I apply full water after the new growth starts. Watering schedule depends on some factors such as weather , soil condition etc.

I would assume you could use any aside from the gel ones. Most of all superglue is sterile. Best for deep cut that require stitches

This is absurd. Shouldn't have used glue. It will totally ruin the plant. Imagine you accidentally spill the liquid glue on your hand or any other body part and see what happens.

Any time except winter. I also suggest to avoid rainy season too . The best time is spring if you have fresh seeds. One ward more: If you can collect fresh seeds, don`t wait to get them old because germination rate of old seeds is very low for adeniums.

L.adhesif va arracher toute l’écorce de l’arbre au bout de quelques mois. Et la colle va abîmer l’écorce. Je ne suis pas pour ce genre de souffrance pour l’arbre.
