Wrong...I know him personally when he was in Jacksonville FL..under the Potter's House...he's a false prophet...and a self righteous man which is not of The Lord Jesus..ask yourself this Question..if ..if...Jesus is the corner Stone of us being believers...and he Started the church in Matthew 16...And he commission the Disciples to go out and preach and teach baptizing in the name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit....and After his Death and Resurrection all power was given unto him ..So if he didn't "Jesus".. Build buildings and also didn't tell the Disciples to do the same thing then why are these men who continue to lie an say God told them to start a church is starting something that Jesus did not establish neither did he tell the Disciples to do it...You know why because he did what his Father in heaven taught him to do ..that is to do only what he was instructed to do ..don't do anything on your own or anything that would bring Glory to yourself...This why Christ came to die ..to bring Religion to it's death and being forth relationship with the Father in Heaven without his children feeling as if they had to a have a natural man being the mediator anymore..and the Holy Spirit being what it was sent to do in the name of Christ..to teach all believers and lead them and guide them into all truth......peace...
Ciapha Gray He is only a sellout if he wanted money to be there. Anybody can go to a radio station and talk business be it financial, spiritual, etc. Also, I remember reading in the Bible that the. other leaders couldn't stand Jesus because He was open enough to associate with the Heathens and didn't give a crap what the religious leaders had to say.
Sherri Solomon let me explain this Discreet action of what he's doing...I'm speaking from experience..Hello....in the religious organization as being a assistant to the religious leaders that you are under..when a person feels that "god"..is calling them to start a religious/business organization ..The rule is you cannot start your establishment in the same city because ..you will become competition to the already established religious organization that are there..so you have to move out of town so you won't be pulling members from organization..So the first thing you do is you do a research on the city's that has the lowest religious organization establish and the population that is growing and also has the most potential to grow over the course of 5-to 10year period based on the stats...and when you feel fleshly convinced that the city you've chosen then you go to the radio station that has free advertisement to promote your business and by promoting it on the air waves it gives those who have heard of you and has listen to you by means Tv ..or..when you were there speaking at a religious organization and they rememberd your performance when spoke...and notice I used the little "g" ..in God at the beginning of this comment....so this is not Christ establish it's man establish.. remember christ made himself of no reputation he didn't advertise ..you don't have to start something to tell someone that Christ died for you.. remember faith comet by hearing and hearing by the word of God ..the word of God was never establish by Christ to be printed on paper it was establish by Christ through his voice..That's why to a believer of Christ doesn't take you to see it on paper or in a book ..you believe by hearing....be bless
Did Christ not come here to die on the cross and save people. Believe it or not there are people out there who don't know Bible or the word and if this man decides to go to a new city and open up a church to spread the word of God teach about his love and compassion as Jesus did when he came who are you to try and discredit and tear down! And please note they did not bring up their new church they were asked about it. Just like the Holy Spirit convicts of wrong doing it will guide/direct you as well. Who are you to say he isn't directed by God to open a church.
So I'm not religious and I wanted to find the snake the entire time I watched this but I just found some GOOD people following their heart and that's what we all should be doing. This was a very positive example of black love and entrepreneurism. LOVE IT!!!
GOD GOT YOU BRO , get a relationship with JESUS , it aint about being religious . he loves you man , always just remember that , whatver happens , he still loves you man . 💯 have a BLESSED year mane ❤️
This past year he had an affair. To keep his wife from divorcing him he bought her a Lamborghini. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=amp.thestate.com/living/religion/article224179955.html&ved=2ahUKEwjllLuPw_XkAhXOV98KHewuA24QFjAAegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw0GJEmCpvDf2j53voib4XPs&cf=1
PROVERBS 31 Amen, John Gray seemed to apply the gospel to real life situations in the world. The way he described the ministry of Jesus Christ was wonderful and precise. Agree, some ppl who are super deep only create the unbelieving to continue to don’t seek God. We need more of Christians who gonna stand in the mist to teach the word and love others back to heath. Also, being spirit led is so important when ministering to others.
Crazy people do things in the "name of Jesus"....like indoctrinating their slaves into Christianity after stripping them of self....black people won't give up the white man's God for nothing...even when they know how it was pressed upon them.
Jonathan Liddell Slaves were taught that the "Curse of Ham" in the Bible was justification for the African race being labeled as inferior. Examples of slavery in the Bible were pointed to as evidence that God must have found it permissible. Slaves were taught to model the example of the Jews in slavery in Egypt: Wait for God to deliver them; don't try to rebel through planning or resistance. Jesus' humility and submission was constantly discussed in order to teach slaves to "turn the other cheek," rather than rebel against unjust treatment. The focus in Christianity is often on reward in the next life (heaven) for enduring injustice in this life. That, of course, encourages submission, slavery,, injustice, racism, extreme poverty, arrogant ignorance & genocide
I went to high school wit John Gray so proud of him...he was very popular always singing and joking thru out the hallways and still some wat look the same...😄
In response to some comments: -1 :these guys are qualified to start a church. Listen to one of his sermons. He knows the word. -2 : they have other sources of income other than the church. ie .TV/books , that’s why they can sit courtside and they have money. -3 :yes he gets a salary , but it is a full time job. Let the man breathe. It’s as if no “church people” can have money.
People need to go to the first interview he did alone he clearly stated there is not alot of money to be made he also used the lady at the well then too
Jacovien Daniels ok!!!! church hurt my butt none of what he's saying or she's saying is found in scripture you will never get an answer from the sun God worshipers
Look my brother, we can have a healthy debate but one thing we won't do is degrade one another. I don't do the internet gangster shit. But to answer ur question no I'm not slow. The scripture u mentioned comes from the old testament as well as the old law. There are a NUMBER of things under the old law that we couldn't do that WAS a sin but no longer is.
Much props to the Breakfast Club for having men and woman of God on their show. So much violence and hate in this world and yet we continue to hurt one another. We are all going through something, we are all in need of love, money, friends, jobs, etc. Let’s get back to loving each other and listening with an open mind because the reality is that we all need one another to survive.
This is great! Often times “Christian ppl” are so focused on perfection & not progression. That’s what ultimately turns ppl away from the church. We all fall short to the glory of God & thank goodness for His mercy, grace, and kindness. We need to Love ppl first and foremost without judgment!
msbshepard # Although we're living in an age of information, it's ironic how many preachers are so uninformed. It’s amazing to see the number of preachers that have no idea that there were not only many “savior” myths whose lives were nearly identical with Jesus’ life but also preceded the story of Jesus by thousands of years! Mithras, Horus, Buddha and Hindu are just a few of these pre-Jesus saviors. All throughout the scriptures we see overwhelming evidence that the bible is simply a re-telling of pre-existing myths and legends. How many preachers, though, would change their Sunday rhetoric if they were presented with this irrefutable evidence? Imagine preachers that have preached the erroneousness of the bible as being the authentic and inspired “Word of God” for many, many years and then all of a sudden finding out that the “gospel” they’ve been preaching is fictional. The vast majority of preachers would refuse to expose these findings because of the fear of losing their congregations. What is more unfortunate is that many preachers have been preaching so long that they’re not qualified to do anything else. In other words, finding the truth and then telling the truth would devastate many disillusioned parishioners and also end the careers of many preachers. #knowingishalfthebattle #orrinsreligion
Im so glad to see that there is still HOPE and LOVE in relationships cause i have not seen the positivity that is being displayed here in a VERY LONG TIME.
Regardless of the theological battles in the comment section, this interview made me feel good this morning. Good to the soul. Have a blessed day everyone.
Beautiful interview! He didn't answer things he didn't know, they gave a great explanation of healing when it comes to sickness, and they showed the love of God without bashing anyone. Awesome!
Their explanation was terrible. If prayer can't deliver reliable predictable results then it's useless. It's literally hey when some people beat cancer it's the will of God, if they don't... well it's the will of God. Don't you see that's not awesome, and that you can say that about anything. If a cup sits on the table it's the will of god, if the cup falls off the table... well it's the will of God. It's utterly ridiculous.
Brian McMurray the Bible says to ASK of God and NO good thing will be withheld from you. It doesn’t say you’ll get what you want. Your cup analogy is obtuse, but I’ll roll with it... my cup may be expensive, it may have HUGE sentimental value for me, I may pray that it stays on the table, but what if it falling on the table is good for me? What if it falling on the table will teach someone else that they don’t need expensive cups to have joy, that they can live without them, that the sentiment isn’t lost because the object is, and what if because I lose that cup I notice the plate and the table that I’ve been neglecting? Sometimes we lose things and even people because what we learn from the loss is more valuable than having the thing or the person. Some lives are more lessons than they are action over time. Losing my brother taught me that life was meant to be lived on purpose. Who knows if I ever would have learned it had he lived? I can tell you that I had NO clue why I was here until I had to help my family through it.
So many haters. Listen to what they are saying or alluding to. Grace and only the blood of Jesus can restore our relationship with God. It’s not about following empty rules and pretending or earning your way to heaven. This pastor and wife sound as if they are doing amazing things for God’s Kingdom. Hopefully people can keep an open mind before judging them so harshly.
David Park Given the presence of evil, "god" is either not all-powerful or not perfectly good. One can certainly redefine "god" to lack either of these attributes, but this would bear little resemblance to the sort of deity in which Christians claim to believe. Uninformed Christians often try to escape the problem of evil by claiming either that evil is somehow a necessary prerequisite for free will or that we simply don't understand the mind of their "god." Of course, an all-powerful entity would not be constrained, so this objection falls flat quickly. Moreover, the question can easily be shifted to one of animal suffering in which free will is simply irrelevant. As for the notion of evil somehow being part of a divine plan humans are not meant to understand, this violates the notion of a good "god" quite thoroughly.
Orrin Heru thank you for trying to discuss the topic in a non-hostile manner. I've wrestled with this question in the past and a good book that addresses this topic is Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. I would not be giving this serious question justice by trying to discuss it in a youtube comment. If you are seriously searching for truth then I believe you will do your due diligence in trying to work out these complicated questions and concerns.
sheena vaught Jesus WAS on earth. He’s currently seated at the right hand of the father. He’s talking about Jesus’s ministry while he was on earth. The Holy Spirit is now on earth in us to continue his ministry.
Chanceux A You need to wake up. Paul was talking about indentured servitude not chattel enslavement in that verse. In the same book a group of Middle Eastern (brown) people escaped and were set free from chattel enslavement. l know it’s confusing but context really matters. God bless!
I love Pastors John & Aventer Gray! I'm so glad God trusted them with their own church (they so deserve it). I also love how respectful the Breakfast Club was to them. They all asked very relevant questions and I'm grateful both John & Aventer answered honestly.
What a powerful, powerful interview! These people have beautiful souls, they keep it real, and they've definitely touched my heart, we need more ministers and people of God who are not afraid to speak their truth and provide wisdom to their communities and their families.
“The more like Jesus you become the more you will be hated.” Y’all in these comments killing this man that’s just trying to be a good disciple. But y’all love these rappers that are selling death to us and flashing y’all support money on chains and whips. 🤦🏾♂️
I am from Greenville, South Carolina. I currently live in San Antonio, TX. The city of Greenville is growing fast! Happy to know you are coming to a small town that really needs your guidance. A powerful movement is coming . Wake them up Pastor. They don't even know that this powerful shacking is about to happen.
I am not even religious, but I have enjoyed his sermons I have seen on RU-vid. He’s very relatable and preaches in a way thats digestible to folks that don’t really feel church. If you don’t like him. Find someone that speaks to you or watch worldstar. It’s really that simple 🤷🏽♀️.
Thank You Pastor John and Aventer. The interview was solid. We were at Lakewood while you were there and now in Georgia. Keep pushing and keep serving. We love you!
I'm not a church person at all but I am spiritual. I like this interview and the reason I never banged with church too heavy is due to the judgmental nature of highly religious people
+Troy C. I understand what you are saying. I don't attend church regularly but there are a lot of good people in church. This is what I realized though. Many pastors don't preach what is really in the Bible. Jesus of the Bible wasn't even as "religious" as the religious people you meet in some of these churches. Yet, a lot of people don't know that. There are some clear rules in the Bible though like "thou shall not kill". Most of us know that one. I think we are all better when we stick to the rules that are very clear instead of some of what the pastors make up in their own heads.
I understand brother , dont have thats stop youfrom going , but good thing is you have god in your life . If you accepted god in your life (saved) than just live and focus with god . ♥️
John gray and his wife are amazing! Im from cincinnati and had the pleasure of hearing him preach at crossroads oakley on mothers day a few years back. I have been following his sermons and show ever since! Last year my friends had dinner with them during a tough time and appreciated their interaction with them. Thanks breakfast club for bringing them in again!
Do more say less.. alot of y'all in the comments should really start doing that . The ignorance towards a man who's done nothing wrong to nobody in these comments is crazy. It's not even noon and yall angry and hating why ?
Technically: BY RACE: 2016 POVERTY NUMBERS AND MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME Asian: 1.9 million (4.7 percent of poor); $81,431 (no statistically significant change from 2015) Black: 9.2 million (22.7 percent of poor); $39,490 (5.7 percent increase from 2015) Hispanic: 11.1 million (27.4 percent of poor); $47,675 (4.3 percent increase from 2015) White:17.3 million (42.5 percent of poor); $65,041 (2 percent increase from 2015)
It also decreases by the year so blacks aren't at the bottom, though many use them as a scapegoat in society to make thing easier and not all see it that way bad not all are heartless

Great interview... I love their love!✊🏾 I heard of John Gray with the show The Preachers. Never heard of Aventer til today. Mannn she was dropping gems in almost every statement she made🙌🏾
what she said at 20:45 was powerful !! her husband the pastor was at full attention, that was deep and he looked like he never heard that before and fell more in love with her if that's even possible
Heard this interview live when it aired, I had to come back and watch the video. This pastor had me rolling 😂 they seem genuinely of faith and love. Good to see a different representation of Christians than the holy rollers that’s usually in the media.
I'm glad Yee asked Aveter wer she was at mentally wen she met pastor john Gray...cus it resonated in my soul to jus get ready for wat God has for u after a break UP...she was basically left at the alter bcus he was NOT her husband but she stated she was heart broken and NOT looking but look wat God sent her way...A LIFE she prolly never thut of having SMH thanks for this interview...i needed to hear her testimony...to NOT give up on wat God has for ME even tho i may b confused on Y the relationship ended 😕 but NOW i see Y...😏
Houston will miss you John & Aventer! He truly is genuine. I've visited Lakewood several times simply because of John Gray! Lakewood will not be the same when they leave & I'm positive Joel Osteen knows that!
Love Pastor Gray and his family. I just knew that I would get to see him at Lakewood one day, once I moved back to Texas from Augusta, GA. Now that I moved to Texas, he moved closer to where I left! 😆 Keep working the work of him that sent you. 😉 I’ll continue to catch you online and on your show on OWN. Thanks Breakfast Klub for the interview! 👍🏾
I truly love their message and their gift. I love how candid they are and how they are willing. I hope that I am able to witness one of their sermons one day.
OMG! I've been saying that for years: It's really hard to go to hell. Because the Love of God is so REAL! It's reaches past all our mistakes, bad performances and ignorant beliefs. His loves simply says I love you just because I am love just ACCEPT!
No it is not hard to go to hell god said the way to hell is Broad and the way to heaven is narrow he was simply telling you there will be more people's going to hell then there will be going into heaven Only the Strong endure to the end doesn't sound like an easy task
That was an awesome interview Breakfast Club. I appreciate you all bringing in pastor Grey and his wife and more importantly, I appreciate how down to earth he is when it comes to ministry and how he loves others.
Thoroughly enjoyed this interview; Beautiful couple and uplifting, powerful message that they're sharing with the masses! Fyi commenters: you can be suscribed to another faith and still be spiritually enlightened by what they're saying. Take a break from the daily ratchetry and feed your mind and spirit!
When i see a married couple compliment each other like Pastor and his First Lady is awesome to me. Great interview. Thank you +Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM
Love Pastors John and Aventer Gray. Use to attend Lakewood from 2008-2013. So happy to hear about the vision God has for them. Real Christians and real love! Many blessings to you guys!
Phenomenal interview, I Love how they both had a presence in the interview. I love their views. And love their passion for Christ! God bless them! 🙏🏽🙌🏽
It's funny how negative yall ppl is lol...Ya'll came to a video that CLEARY said "*PASTOR* John Gray...." Just to HATE on it lmaoooo Go take a walk or sumn..damn 😂😂😂😂😂
People are. Not people is.. you can get taken more serious if you use proper grammar and spelling. You can get away with punctuation but learn how to speak and write clear. Also a man of God on this station talking and behaving how he does. That's where opinions came from.
