In a 150 years people will look at abortion the same way we look at slavery. Today we wonder how anyone could believe it's ok to own another human. In the future they will wonder what kind of monster thought it was ok for a mother to terminate the life of their child.

I used to be pro choice, I always knew I’d never have an abortion, but didn’t think I should force that view onto others. But then during my second pregnancy I had bleeding early on. When I went to the hospital panicking I was floored at the treatment I received - I was told if I was one day earlier they wouldn’t have taken me in, that they only take patients who are six weeks and onwards, and I was given a wrong diagnosis. In the time between that hospital visit and finding out my baby was okay I realized I was lying to myself, that I couldn’t pretend to support abortion when I knew it wasn’t just my preborn babies that I viewed as alive, it was all of them. I’m not very vocal about my views (I live in a very pro choice area), but I’ve stopped spreading pro choice media and delete any past pro choice messaging I’ve shared when I see it. When it comes to wanted pregnancies, pro choice people react according to wether or not that pregnancy was wanted, although some more extreme pro choice people will react using pro choice arguments which can be unsettling (for example, telling someone who just miscarried that it was only a clump of cells isn’t helpful or necessary but it was something I heard from someone I cut out of my life).

Human life begins at conception, regardless of state of age..

Why doesn't the man have a choice?

I would rather live in a country that promotes life. The government could pay for the mother's prenatal care and see that the child is adopted. Schools should have classes on parenting, running a family, promoting sexual purity through teen years, etc. Seek for the good. Government should protect the weak and voiceless, an innocent child.

Most evidence says that places where abortion is illegal have similar or slightly higher rates of abortion than places where it is legal. Women will seek abortions whether or not they are legal. Places where abortion is illegal often also have barriers for women getting effective birth control. Using birth control when we want it is the thing that lowers abortion rates. So if one lives in a place with limited access to birth control one is more likely to have an unplanned pregnancy and with that unplanned pregnancy, one is just as likely to attempt to terminate it.

Regardless if your a man or a woman. Does the government or anyone else have the right to. TAKE without permission your kidney, your liver, your heart, or any other body part? What laws prevents that from happening? When your NOT the owner of whatever. You have NO say in any of it. Period.

The Bible never discusses Abortion, it DOES discuss the fetus, if it is harmed because two men are fighting, and harms the woman as well as the fetus (I forget the term it uses, but it means the 'unborn' - whatever you want to call it). The men who were fighting, but harmed the woman, if she dies, should be stoned. If it only bruises her & cuts her lip, he gets punished according to the price asked for by the husband/father. If she's only harmed in the moment, recovers quickly, but the fetus is killed/miscarried, the men are not put to death they get a small fine. The Bible even gives a 'recipe' to abort babies Numbers 5 : 11-31. God/the Bible only ever as far as I can tell, mentions abortion in Numbers and it is TO abort a baby, (presumably if it's not the husband's) I see nothing about NOT aborting, tho, I Do recall a passage, not 100% where it is that says it's not a baby until it takes it's 1st breath, tho, and another that suggests it isn't until (I think it was the 3rd month... but maybe the 30th day) because they do not 'tax' it as if it's a child until that time. So NO, from what I can see of the Bible, FROM the Bible, abortion is not a sin. This is not to say Christian Women should go nuts getting abortions. I don't think it's a preferred action, but neither is yelling at your kids or giving false doctrine or bearing false witness (which, granted IS one of the 10 commandments, still), but people do that stuff all the time. Plus these BS 'laws" that are being discussed do nothing to protect the life of the mother, even when the "baby" is dead/dying inside her. She can become infertile &/or dead as a result of these BS 'laws' that are an abomination in the Eyes of The Lord.

People talk about abortion as if the child is spoiled goods, as if a person conceived under violence is a lesser person than somebody who was wasn't. All life is infinitely valuable. All people should be given a chance to make the world a better This is not a women's rights issue. This is an issue on the value of human life. That single cell deserves life and is not a waste I will die on this hill alone if I have too

Government needs ti stay out of the bedroom. Nobody wants abortion, but it still needs to be a choice.

I would say I'm pro-choice and pro-life -- I believe in the right for people to choose and the right for unborn humans to live (certainly, there are exceptions for the latter, as life most certainly is not a fair mistress); regardless of whether or not it is ultimately moral, people should have the right to act toward what they believe is the truth (but that doesn't make them right, simply because they were granted the power to choose).

I'm for the most part, pro choice. if a woman doesn't want a baby, the babies life may be significantly worse when their mother is forced to be a mother. on a similar note though, I don't think child support should be a thing. if a woman can choose to step away from having a child, a man should also be able to step away.

Reproductive Rights are Human Rights, but not State Rights.
