Hi, Great to hear from you. Yes, it does sound like some kind of demonic activity going on. Speaking in an unknown language is a big indicator of demonic interference, it would be interesting to know what sort of symbols were being drawn. With mental health, you do get people writing and drawing symbols, but if they are not learnt but known symbols and languages that's not mental health. A reaction to Christian symbolism is also an indicator of demonic possession, and not knowing the cross is there again that does sound like the demonic at work as it reveals hidden and not known knowledge. Sometimes when praying for people, I will test them by asking what is in my bag, if they know all three items its evidence of a spirit at work. It is also interesting that those with spirits can get very angry and agitated in the presence of a Christian. Spirits will try to influence people's thinking and behaviour. Have you tried praying silently as you go about the care home and pray for individuals without them knowing, spirits will know that you are praying and sometimes react, this is another way of discerning what is mental illness and demonic attachment?

Once I was praying for a person and i don't think more than 30 seconds had past before some woman walked in the door and emmediately started an argument with her. My aunt told me that one time she was praying for a man eating food at a restaurant and he left almost emmediately and didn't finish his food. So I think demons can definitely know when you're praying and will retaliate.

When it comes to Depression and suicide you have to discern 1) is this an emotional problem, 2) Is this a biological problem (Am I lacking for example a certain vitamin), 3) Is this related to a specific sin, 4) Is this caused by my environment, and finally, the last option is this demonic. And yes it can be a combination of the previous. Sometimes spirits will oppress and cause depression apathy lethargy hopelessness and suicide. Praise and worship can remedy this and put oppression to flight. Some people are more prone to depression than others. Know your strengths and weaknesses. God created us for family, sin and the enemy destroy families. When we become Christian, we have a Christian family but sadly not all churches act like the family they should. I would encourage you to pray for your mum, that she finds Jesus in prison, and God can begin to heal her heart, Forgive her and others for abandoning you, and pray for them. Praise God you are adopted into his family and ask God to fill you with His love for others. You can be reactive or proactive? There are many orphans out there allow God to heal your pain and help others who are alone, rejected and betrayed, you can identify with these people, and you can begin to reveal the Redemptive Love of Jesus to them. You are not alone if you have Jesus, the Holy Spirit is in you and He strengthens and comforts us to care for others. “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…” Psalms 68:5-6. May you know the love of Jesus more deeply so darkness flees away from you.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. It's one of those situations that need a bit of testing. When praying for some people I have seen exactly what you have described as a spirit reacts to prayers and reading of the Bible. But also this could be a petit mal seizure a form of epilepsy that can cause rapid blinking and a stare off into space. No harm in a doctor giving a medical assessment. Sometimes I've just quietly prayed in my head around someone and they have manifested strange behaviour without them knowing I am praying, as a way of testing what is going on, these quite unspoken prayers can help to discern what is physical & spiritual.

I am glad you are seeing some breakthroughs, Praise the Lord Jesus for this. When deliverance takes time it can be because the Holy Spirit is teaching us something. The Holy Spirit teaches us how to battle in the spirit. Keep using the name of Jesus against the spider. Demonic spiders seek to immobilise so that you cannot move forward in life. Ask the Lord for Ephesians 3:16 “That He would grant you according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man”. When the inner man is strengthened we can break free from being immobilised. Is there any reason to be afraid of the dark? Were you afraid of the dark as a child? When fear of the dark comes, begin to sing the name of Jesus, May His name give you strength to overcome as strength rises up in you.. John 1: 5 And the Light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.7 The same came as a witness to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.9 That was the true Light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Been struggling with fear since I was born, afraid of the dark Since I was a small child. Back in 2012 when I was attacked by demons. That was when I was starting to able to hear things that nobody else could hear. See things that nobody can see. And it freaks me out. I won that battle by screaming the name of jesus and it all stopped for a little bit.

Morning, yes I will pray for you. Sometimes such dreams are a sign someone is praying against you if it's a reoccurring dream. Try reading Psalm 91 before going to sleep and see if that helps. May Christ our Lord be your protection. Blessings to you Pastor Matt.

Hi, Trevor, I try to base everything I do on the Bible as I know this is a firm foundation unclean spirits do not like. I personal use olive oil, or similar based on James 5:14-15 "If anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven". I know this is praying for a sick person. In the Old Testament Exodus 40:9, they used oil to anoint the Tabernacle and its objects. "Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy". The oil symbolises the Holy Spirit and dedicating something to God like in Exodus 40:9. I don see water and salt being used in the same way as above. I have found it helpful when dedicating a home to the Lord that has spirits in to start with communion, dedicating the home and property to the lord, Then pray in each room as the lord leads anointing with oil. Praise and worship are also helpful for getting rid of spirits as God inhabits the praises of His people and demons don't like that lol.

I pray the Lord will give you rest and peaceful home. If the tiredness is related to the spirits in your home you are being oppressed as the spirits are trying to wear you out. If things are on your mind speak to a friend you trust and also give these things to God. If the spirits are keeping you awake and messing with your thoughts, it may be good to have someone to pray with you from a local Christian Church. It's very much a battle of wills and beleif. Or 'spirit' as far as I can tell. If you beleive 'salt' will work. It will work. If you beleive oil will work. It will work. There is no hiding place for sceptics it seems. I also suffer the suppression. Lathergy. It is diabolical for sure.

@@paulgibbons2320 I think you are right about lethargy and suppression, Nathaniel was a bit of a sceptic but Jesus meets him where he was at. “Nathanael said to Him, ‘How do You know me?’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.’” John 1:48 As Nathanael approaches, Jesus builds him up: “Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, ‘Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!’ ” (John 1:47). Jesus is saying,“I know you Nathanael for who you are and you are a man of integrity.” Nathanael is surprised that Jesus would say this, so he says to Him, “How do You know me?” (John 1:48a). Nathanael is amazed because he has never met Jesus before and knows of no reason why Jesus would know his character so well.

May our heavenly Father watch over you and gurd you . May Jesus stand all around you. May the Holy Spirit bring you peace and reveal Jesus to you. May the word of God lead and guide you. The High sence of the narcissist and psycopaths self importance for excessive admiration is always difficult to handle. With out knowing all the details, I would not let them know everything i think and do, sadly you may have to create some distance between them, not easy, but may be nessecary, If you can find someone you can talk this through with a pastor locally or a councelor that would be good. You might be being manipulated in ways you do not know and your own character may be being effected. May God give you peace and direction in your sitution.

This is a difficult question without knowing more details (feel free to email if you like). A Person can slowly be taken over by a demon or quickly. The more a person surrenders to a demon the deeper and quicker the possession will happen. A person thinking can gradually become that of the demons. A person may start saying things they have never learned before, but they just know it. A person's personality may become effected which is more noticeable to others rather than themselves, as they can become more withdrawn and possibly depressed. If the person is dabbling in spirit contact they can become addicted to spirit communication and feel they have to speak to the spirits. There is a strong aversion to things Christian for example a person sees a church or a pastor walking down the road and they suddenly become angry or afraid. A person may be aware of spirits around them feeling they are being watched or a spirit is looking through their eyes. A person may feel their life is cursed. Or dark energy is around them and in them. Mental, emotional and physical health can all be affected by a demon, we look for a logical explanation first if there is not one then we look for a spiritual explanation. You still must rebuke the spirits that are causing oppression in Jesus name, as they will seek to wear you down and make you tired. The oppression seeks to stop you from serving the Lord Jesus and following him. Paul the Apostle said we wrestle against powers and principalities, Those spirits try to control our lives and destiny to prevent the kingdom work of God going forward.

I think of 'possession' as when people do crazy unhinged things eg the recent Plymouth massacre. No doubt not a believer anyway. I think Christians can be oppressed by spirits from things they have engaged in, watched, listened to but at some level their Spirit is in tact even if their Flesh is oppressed. That's just my understanding but maybe even believers can be possessed. There are supposedly Godly people who still murder for example.

Yes, the Plymouth shooting was terrible, Some people can find themselves demonically anointed to carry out the devil's work of evil, compared to the Christian who is anointed to do the will of God.

Jesus never said it would be easy, everyone has their struggles, it's walking with Jesus through the conflict is the key and tricky bit. In the conflict it's choosing to be like Christ, we do all we can to bring peace. Yet we live in a fallen world and sometimes have to walk away from the conflict. If it's an inner conflict ask the Holy Spirit to show you the root of the conflict and the way forward, I found this helpful when I've felt conflict rising up. Just because you have conflict does not mean you are possessed.

How does the holy spirit show you

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Confess all sin to God the Father, ask Him to Fill you with the Holy Spirit and to set you free. Ask God to cleanse and cover you with the blood of Jesus, read psalm 51 as a prayer. Do you know when spirit s came in. Have you visited a good church in your area that can also help you.

It’s always a bit concerning when someone’s face changes like that, I’ve seen it happen a few times. I would share this experience with your pastor if they are open to spiritual warfare, someone else may have experienced the same as yourself, and told the pastor, and you may bring confirmation. The lady may have no idea that her face had just changed and the Lord may be revealing to you that she needs some deeper ministry. As she is a Christian some of her ancestors may have been skinwalkers (but we must not jump to sudden conclusions without understanding her full history), she would need to renounce this and be cut off from those spirits, I would suggest that such prayer would be done with another mature Christian present who understands spiritual warfare. All spirit guides should also be confessed and renounced. Encourage her to keep seeking Jesus, reading the Bible, worship and prayer, as we submit to God these things leave. Hi, it may be worth having another mental health check up just to rule anything out. Sleep should refresh and invigorate our natural faculties. If we wake up and we feel dullness of mind and heaviness of spirit, it sounds like a spiritual attack. Dreams of being chased especially by demons can be demonic as they seek attention. Remove any occultic items from your home. Pray over your house and bedroom dedicating the property to God. Pray for the protection of the Blood of Jesus over your bedroom and for peace to fill your bedroom. Before sleeping, pray along the lines of: Dear Heavenly Father Forgive me for all of my sins and deliver me from evil. I dedicate my dream world and life to you. I ask for Heavenly protection over my mind before I sleep. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and ask for His portion over my mind. I dedicate my mind to Christ and declare I have the mind of Christ Jesus. I command all unclean spirits to detach and leave me now in Jesus Name. Heavenly Father as I sleep fill me with the Holy Spirit. Amen. In Jesus name I command every demon in my dreams to leave, detach and be gone. I declare the Peace of Christ over my mind, body, spirit and soul. You're not crazy brother. I've been renting a room at a boarding house for 2 years now. When I first moved in I had a nightmare I was being chased by demons and I was very scared. In the dream I was yelling for my grandma but they continued but as soon as I said "in the name of Jesus Christ...." I didn't finish saying it when they vanished and I awoke quick. I messed up staying here because right now they got me by the balls but it has also made my faith stronger in God. And I pray everyday. With that said you aren't possessed, you are oppressed. They're sending you intrusive evil thoughts so you can do something bad, that gives them the green light to possess you. So stay strong, pray to God, and move away or get delivered. You'll be alright.

Hi, I can only imagine how frustrating this ringing in your head is. I would not think that this is a sign of demonic possession as normally there is more than one indicator for possession. However, having said that it may be an affliction caused by a spirit that does not have full control of you. Jesus healed the mute man and he also cast out a mute spirit (Mark 7:31-37, Mark 9:25). some spirits can imitate physical illnesses. I would encourage you to get medically checked by a doctor if possible. Also, have some Christians pray for you who believe in healing and deliverance. If you think its a spirit at work, why do you think that?

I have this too, I got sleep paralysis. I lost emotion and got vision of my things on my phone and vivid dreams I became less me and I could tell the thoughts weren’t mine but I still have free will. I think it is possible that it’s possession

Possessions refer to ownership a Christian can never be owned by a demon but can be harassed by them. Have you tried reading Psalm 91 before going to bed and using it as a protective prayer?

@@bobbykingly6676 I would be hesitant to say. Some people are influenced by spirits but are not possessed. Some people are temporarily possessed. You could try sincerely praying psalm 51 out loud and see how that goes. Spirits hate purity. Psalm 51 is a psalm of cleansing to be made clean.

Yes. Some demons do take a while to leave. But they leave at the name of Jesus. For Some deliverence sessions prayer and fasting are needed.

a medical check-up would rule out any Dementia and any medication that needs to be revised. It's interesting that this only happens in the evening and not at any other time during the day. Is there any reason she should be angry or fearful at the evening time? Does Granma get angry at Christian objects like a Bible or a Bible being read, have you tried praying or reading scripture with her during the day? I would walk around the house and bless every room whilst reading Psalm 23. Also, dedicate the land to Jesus asking Him to make the ground Holy Ground, I would ask Jesus to break any curses and remove any spirit sent on assignment to harm your family. Hi, Crystals and incense you could say are neutral and come from Gods creation. Revelation 21:19 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; and Revelation 8:4 The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God’s holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out. The problem is for us we live in a fallen world. Incense and crystals/stones have been hijacked by the enemy. So many burn incense for eastern meditation or for their god, crystals are often used for healing and protection. It is what the enemy attaches to incense and crystals are the problem. I have met a number of people who have placed more faith in crystal healing than in Jesus. I have also met people who claim the crystals choose them and called to them! Personally, when I see a crystal it points me to the beauty of Gods creation, Do I own crystals, no because it would be a stumbling block to others, Do I burn incense, again no because it would be a stumbling block to others in the faith who are coming out of eastern meditation. If we are placing our faith in crystals and incense we run the risk of connecting to a spirit working through that object. But one day we shall see the beauty and amazing smells in heaven.

Hi. I'm so sorry for your loss, losing a sister is so painful. It is possible for a spirit/demon to attach to an object and pretend to be your sister. I'd first make sure it's not mental health a break down due to loss and greif. Once this is ruled out it could be a spirit. I would ask for the blood of Jesus to be over every object and dedicate objects to Jesus. I would command any familiar spirit to detach and leave all objects and your sister. I would ask for Jesus protection around your family and for his love to fill and heal. Sometimes in grief we feel out of control. This can make us feel angry. And open a door for the enemy to get in. Things happening that are not of this world. Things going off that are broken. Smells of sulfur and garbage. I wish I could explain it all, but there is just too much happening. Really scary stuff. A crystal in and of its self cannot protect a person, there needs to be a spirit attached to the crystal for protection. This can be similar to amulets, talismans, fetishes, magic charms. Placing one's faith in a crystal can open a doorway for a spirit to begin to control a person's life.
