The core of all beings is Atma (Soul). Eternally pure by nature, part and parcel of divine eternal life. It is the covering of the soul in contact with material nature that influences the soul and offers the choice of acting under the influence of the modes of goodness passion or ignorance. Only through devotional service to the absolute Truth, the Supreme Lord, through a bona fida spiritual master, can we transcend the modes of nature and go home back to Godhead. Hare Krsna 🙏

Jesus said in Matthew 15:18-19 18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander. 20 These are what defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile him.”… The core of our soul/heart needs to be made pure this can only be done by salvation in Jesus Christ. In Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Because Jesus went to the cross to die in our place and He rose from the dead, only by faith in Jesus do we become free from sins corruption, and evil. When we believe and repent Jesus forgives us and spiritually washes us with His blood to make us clean. We are not saved by good works or devotion we are saved through what Jesus has done. Our good works and devotion show we are following Jesus as He has saved us and not we ourselves saving ourselves. The imperfect cannot purify the imperfect only the perfect Son of God can purify and save us from the evil in us, and He who saves is Called Jesus.
@PastorMattTricker I made it pretty deep into this ancient game of games. I recognize it's a bit like Highlander, there can only be One. And seeing as I could never be the Most powerful sorcerer, I have given up on pursuit of the Occult. However, I am now struggling with a great deal of confusion and fragmentation. I tried going to the local Baptist church about a year ago and haven't been back since, despite really having a solid impression of the Pastor. Something is preventing me. Conflicted motivations.
