oddly, since we were made to believe that Islam is a bad religion, we don't know anything about it. It's been villainized by the media (who owns the media?). We did not know how incredibly similar Christianity and Islam are. Even the way Muslims pray is the same way old christians pray to God. The Aramaic Christians still pray the same way... and they are the oldest christians. The only real key difference is that Jesus ascended in Islam but He is also Muslim's messiah and they are waiting for Jesus' return as well. In Christianity, Jesus died as a sacrifice so that we may already have a place in heaven because God knew we could not do it on our own because Heaven and Hell are so absolute in Christianity while in Islam it's a sentencing system. Other teachings are absolutely the same in the Quran and in the Bible. Others will include Hadith but I don't particularly focus too much on that, focusing on the word of God says it all... I am trying to study both religion more being raised Evangelical Christian and then this Isreal war happened made me question the church I was following.

this is a cover song of what Basil Valdez sang in his 1994 album Ngayon at Kailanman..the entire song is based on biblical verses like the chorus which is based from Psalms 119:105..salute to Mr. Arnel de Pano for this wonderful song..

there were times when i was rock bottom low..to the point that i was thinking of ending it all..then a pastor invited this classmate of mine to attend to his service maybe he is interested in learning how to play drums..and this classmate of mine as unrully and so far off the green ground that he is begged me to come along to avoid being all alone sucking the awkwardness..so me that has nothing to do..went..and this pastor was looking at me all the time..and after a service aproached me and told me that he felt that i was hurting..he handed me a CD and told me to listen to even a single song..it was a christian song compilation and lead me lord is the first song..i listened to it the whole night..then the next sunday went again alone to the service.. and ask the pastor if i can hold on it a little longer..he told me to keep it..he had another copy and i need it more than anyone..

Before Gary V recorded it, this song was popularized by Basil Valdez. Both very popular in their own times, and just as good. Each reflecting the style of their time (even this is different from the original Gary V recording).

Gary Valenciano is a long-time diabetic and he recently had a procedure done if I am not mistaken. He is a great artist and puts his heart in all his music. He is one of the Philippines' icon in the music industry if I may say so. You should do his "Warrior is a child" if you haven't done so. You'd love it too. God bless🙏🏼

Gary v. Is a christian and almost all of the songs he writes and sings are about the lord. He is suffering from early on set diabetes. But his ailment doesnt prevent him from being one of the best concert artist, in fact he is called mr. Pure energy. He also praises the lord when he dance. He taught his two sons to do the same. One took after his dance talent while the other took after his singing. He doesnt claim to be a pastor but he should be. The song the warrior is a child talks about a good christian fighting in this world and whose refuge when wounded and tired is god. He also has a tagalog song called "hwag ka nang umiyak" which translates to " dont cry anymore. Listen to the version with translation, its beautiful.

Lead Me Lord was composed by Mr. Arnel De Pano, a filipino gospel music composer, also a PAPURI artist who also made Dakilang Katapan, a very popular Filipino Gospel song, sung/ known by a lot of Christians all over the country. It was first recorded by Basil Valdez. Gary Valenciano recorded and made his own arrangement of the song several years after.
