Gary V is not the original singer for this song. It was Basil Valdez who first release this song. You should listen also to this original rendition of Basil which I like better than Gary's which is altered already. It should be here also in youtube.
if you like this, please listen to the original version, performed by basil valdez. he battled throat cancer back in the 90s and still sounds pretty good today.

It was Gary's friend, an award winning director penned that song. In about 17 minutes direk Freddie Santos wrote Gary's most endearing inspirational song. Direk Freddie called Gary and asked if he could consider writing music to the lyrics he just wrote. They went upstairs,( Gary studio in the attic) they went up 5pm and didn't come down until 5am. Gary was glued to his keyboards the whole time putting melody to the lyrics. On December 17,2020 Direk Freddie died peacefully and left us with this song.
