These 5 men were created by God just to blow our minds and to show us what only he can create. We are not perfect, but the Almighty is. Another fantastic reaction. 👍
When HF's version of Mary Did You Know came out before Christmas I listened to it so many times I was certain the neighbors would complain. Listening again today I was reminded of how beautiful this version truly is and that I need to hear it 20 or 30 more times today.
Ever since I met Home Free, I can't get away from these talented guys. Home Free - these are five extraordinary talents with fantastic voices. These guys give me with this and the many other songs an inner peace, a balance to our turbulent times. Thanks for your great reaction!
Great reaction. What I like about Home Free is that you can put them somewhere, let them sing and beatbox and it just makes sense. They don't need too much show, the best clothes, etc. They make the environment and the picture itself so beautiful. Because how beautifully this is sung so that it touches your heart and soul. But if you look at the setting, it's actually quite simple, but oh so great. Yes, super sung with a beautiful arrangement. Such good personalities, no egos, no rivalry, loving aura and the brotherhood is what makes Home Free so powerful.. Listen to Do You Hear What I Hear!! An arrangement by Adam Rupp. His brother Chris Rupp was in the group at that time, with Adam the founder of the group... So beautiful, so magical.💖 GOD bless you all.
Pastor - the way Home Free presents this wonderful version certainly makes you wonder what was running through Mary's mind during all of this....all I can say is WOW! Home Free has a wonderfully, UNIQUE talent of drawing out the story of every song they sing...especially this one... God is truly good and gracious for sending His SON....JESUS
I love their version of this song. Having "Mary did you know" sung in bass adds a whole different context to the question and the song. It's so beautiful and it's now my favourite rendition.
Thank you Pastor, Home Free delivers on so many fronts and always brings a smile to my face. They are gifted with amazing talent but they are very humble guys.
I've recommended quite a few of their songs, but I didn't even think about Christmas songs! If you're willing to do them now, I HIGHLY recommend "O, Holy Night"!! It's my favorite rendition ever, but what's truly impressive is that Tim Foust did that arrangement when he was only 19 yrs old!! 😳 You will LOVE it...guaranteed. 👍 "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger" are also beautiful! Both very much recommended!
I believe your channel was a recommended from RU-vid so it's not all bad. Love Home Free's cover of this song. Another favorite is Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. It's HF with The Oak Ridge Boys. If you haven't reacted to it. Please do. 🙏 ❤️🎼❤️🙏
This is the first time I’ve seen this one. I have goosebumps and I’m crying. It’s so beautiful and I know that I will choose to watch it over and over. Thank you so much for your thoughts and scripture. It reminds us of the power of God.
Thank you for reacting to this version of Mary did You Know by Home Free. From the birth to the cross to the Resurection we find contentment knowing His Grace and Mercy is available to all. Home Free giving Praise to the Great I AM causes my heart to pause and remember to give thanks to our Author of Life and the opportunity for reconcilliation as our Redeemer!!! Blessings Pastor and those that took the time to listen to this reaction..... 🙂 ❤
Loved your reaction, your comments (especially about not worshiping Mary) & the scripture. This is my favorite version of the song & I've watched this video at least 100 time & never tire of it even when it isn't Christmas! Who made up the "rule" that we only listen to music about the birth of Jesus during the Christmas season? 😊
Amen, brother! Thank you for speaking the truth boldly! Like you, I’ve heard many versions of this powerful song, and this is my favorite by far. Home Free certainly knows how to honor the character of a song.
This is my favorite Christin song and this version is ok but the real feeling by Mark Lowry who wrote the song is by far my favorite you can feel it when he does it. and it always just ends with "The Great I Am and nothing else!
You should check out Pentatonics version of Mary did you know. Not taking anything away from Home Free, but Pentatonics does the best version of the song.
Such a good reaction James. I love their version too. It’s so stirring. Love the setting, it’s simple yet beautiful. You wouldn’t think beatboxing would work in this song but it’s so good and powerful. They have such good music. Brothers in Arms, Die a Happy Man, Driver, Helplessly Hoping to hear more amazing harmonies. A lot of their Christmas music is wonderful too. O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, Silent Night, What Child Is This, Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art. 😀😍
Thank you for breaking down your thoughts and feelings for this song, Home Free did a beautiful cover of this song, please check out Voctave's cover with Mark Lowery (the writer).
This is an inspiring version. If you want one that Makes you rejoice out loud then check out Pentatonix's version of 'Mary Did you Know'. as well as their 'hallelujah'. Both will get u pumped up.
Just happened to stumble upon your page. Don't know if you have reacted to their version of How Great Thou Art, but it makes me cry every time I watch it. Definitely recommend. Great reaction and God bless you.
Kudos to their whole team the producer of the road crew, video team. Fantastic! Not to mention there focal capability, spirit and funny nature. They are fantastic live if you ever get the chance you must go.
This is a fantastic version. It was my favorite until I saw the version that Voctave does with the writer of this song. Voctave is an acapella choral group that is stunning as well. Give them a listen. 😉 The beginning of this version is awesome. I think my top 3 in order are Voctave HomeFree Pentatonix Then all the rest. Peace and love.
Love your reactions! I'm definitely a Home Fry. Have you ever heard of David Phelps? He is a Christian singer and sings beautifully. Think you would like his song " No More Nights".
Wonderful reaction!! I discovered you through Home Free. I love your positivity and message. Your passion for god and the joy you have sharing it with us is so evident! Thank you 🤗❤️
Home Free did an earlier version of this song on one of their Christmas compilation albums. I had encountered it on RU-vid. It had a bit more hip-hop about it, but no video as far as I know, just a picture of the album. It was a two abum release, one cover red, the other blue.
Who, other than Adam Rupp, would ever have thought record scratching (or whatever it's called) would be appropriate for this beautiful song. As always, he was absolutely right. Never doubt the Ruppster, lol. Beautiful rendition by HF. If you haven't already, check out O' Holy Night as well as Beautiful Star of Bethlehem (a collab with the Oak Ridge Boys & Jeffrey East). They're both stellar. Love your reactions. Thanks.
Best version I have ever heard too.....Pastor, the beatboxer also needs kudos too...he was awesome. This will be listened to not just at Christmastime but all year round. Pastor have you reacted to David Phelps ? His song Heaven's Shore is outstanding
Home Free did a great job with this, but I prefer Pentatonix’s version. If It’s too soon to react to this song again, then recommend Pentatonix’s covers of Amazing Grace and The Prayer.
Catholics don't worship Mary nor do we consider her a goddess to be deifeifed. We do hold her in high esteem and, remembering how she told the wine stewards at the wedding feast at Canaa to "do whatever He tells you," we ask her to pray for us, just as I would ask you to pray for me. It is that sense that we pray to, asking Mary to go to her Son with prayer. As at Canaa, Mary's response is always "do whatever He tells you."
May I ask you a question 🙋🏾♂️ by what scriptures is she supposed to be deified or even to be prayed to? I would like to look those verses in my Bible.
Ya see, I hate religion. Even now this song will be condemned by hide bound religious leaders because it asks a question of a central figure in the myth of Jesus. And I get it, you are an enlightened pastor who is prepared to hear the music and it would seem, separate the talent and performance from the subject. But beware good sir, your enlightened attitude is a tool to be used by your cynical leadership to dominate.
