I'd agree too-except for the existence of Gary Gait. If you watch old games-and you can, because some of them are on YT, especially the championship with Syracuse and JHU, with Gary and Paul, and Quint in goal and Pietramala-the level of play in that particular game is years ahead of the rest of lacrosse being played at the time. Pietramala was at a different level too; it would be years before people were playing defense like he was at that time.

Maybe even use a defensive guy to host it? There’s also “players perspective” that deemer class does on his companies channel if this isn’t your cup of tea.

The circular logic that kept them out of the tournament last year was such bullshit. They didn’t consider Duke a tournament level team because they lost to notre dame but then claimed Norte dame didn’t have enough wins over tournament teams. The only reason Duke wasn’t a tourney team was because they got beaten by notre dame
