@@chrishannon8187 She had her 69th birthday on 10th January this year . I think her operatic vocal training that she had when she was younger is really paying off now as her voice has certainly better worn than many other of her rock contemporaries
@@christopherdavies3079 u know what all credit to her I think that’s what keeps us young do the things that we love I mean look at Cher. I’m 48 now and I remember in 2000 being 27 times flies and u don’t realise how short life is till it’s gone . Like Meat loaf bless him
They say the Hall of Fame is a joke anyway, I think all of us knows who's in our Hall of Fame. The only time I saw Pat & Band was at Gulfstream Park in Lauderdale probably late, late 90's, she had that tiny black outfit on, it had to be 95° that day, didn't slow her down, I only went there to see her, didn't care about the horses that day
It's time those old white dudes in the rock and roll hall of fame finally hold the doors open for Pat. It's inexcusable that this pioneer of the women in rock movement has been denied entry so many times before.
it would seem the RRHOF is more about politics than talent, any more. she's prolly deemed by them as 'too white' to now get in and being female is no longer important. there is a new war on women from the industry, again. all despite being such a female rock icon. she exploded on the scene like no other woman and was embraced like none before her, even Heart... she is a phenom, while those running the RRHOF are average at best, prolly...
it’s probably like the academy or golden globes wgere the performers are supposed to kiss the board members a$$ and try to convince them they deserve it.
Uh (cringe) why/*how are the fng Gogo's inducted but...PAT/ & THIS game changing song/masterpiece (alone) stumps on everything the Gogo's did. Same w/ Joan Jett. Huge couple hits & vital but Pat/Neil outdid them ALL
2 things. As a mostly metal guy i can still say with honesty this chick could and can still sing pretty damn well. The other thing is I think it is pretty impressive and honorable stuff together so many years in such a dirty business
Pat benatar according to me is one of thé best female rock voice of her time.and still IS Time as ni effect on s'y talent ever liké love Real one for sure
Can you say "carpel tunnel wrists"? NOT!!!!!!!!!! Unreal. I love how at 06:33 he motions to us - 'But wait - there's MORE'! 😅Even playing through their bow holding Pat's hand! I have never seen THAT! We are so fortunate to have RU-vid to witness great music still being played by the original artists! Sugarland Texas you got to see one heck of a performance! Rock ON!
