I’m sorry but the Niners are a tight family team and the fans are a big part of that, and I think BA has burned all the bridges with most by showing he doesn’t want to be part of it. All his social media bs has left a sour taste and honestly hope he goes now. I think he’ll have a rude awakening at another team, when he hasn’t got all those big targets on the field with him, pulling away coverage from him, or the other wide receivers blocking for him. I have seen this happen many times before in football, baseball, etc. A player has a rockstar year and then holds out for a mega contract that is closer to what he "thinks" they are worth. Then they get the big bucks and either play average or even below average. Too much pressure trying to live up to that money. Plus.....oftentimes they (and their blood-sucking agents) don't really know what they are worth. The coaches do, but the players tend to have a glorified view of themselves. And of course the agents want as big a contract as possible so they get more $$. That's just my opinion. I'd like to see BA back but not if it bankrupts the team and he holds out and causes drama and distraction.

Here's the deal, if the Niners wouldn't procrastinate so much in their big contract situations, we wouldn't be at this impasse. They have done this for so many other players' contracts in the past and have wound up paying more than they had to. TODAY'S PRICE IS NOT YESTERDAY'S PRICE. had they offered BA 26mil around march or so, he would have signed and we wouldn't me going through this. But as the market moves with other signings, you have to up your offer. he deserves somewhere between 29-31mil based on the market as it stands

You have no idea the FO didn't try to do that. Everyone knew all of the contracts that were going to be signed this off season, especially JJ which everyone knew would reset the market. Of course Aiyuk would want to wait for JJ to sign. I keep hearing things like "BA would have took the Amon Ra deal".. why? He's on the team that eventually paid Deebo and Bosa. The super team that lost the bowl. We were always going to end up at this point no matter what.

They have sat on their hands early in the offseason (see Samuel, Kittle, Warner, and Bosa deals) NOT ONCE have they made a big extension with big name players on the team in the spring. So basically, I (and several people paying attention to trends) have a better Idea than you think we do. My opinion is the FO (who I feel has been doing a good job) would have liked, at least in some cases that I recall, to have been able to move quicker if the circumstances were different. The Deebo deal for instance might have gone differently if he wasn't partnered with AJ and DK via their agent. Bosa got the bag so I can't see how it was the FO that was the issue there.. It was clearly more than they wanted to offer but they eventually caved. I don't think Aiyuk would have took 26 in march based on this history. It's not that 9er brass always wait, it's that they always pay. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue for them, perhaps a silver lining in future negotiations if BA is traded. These are all just my opinions based on my observations, and I respect yours as well. Good day.
