I think it’s also about being ready and able to contribute now, they know they need to win this year no matter what so getting guys who can play now is huge
I've read Purdy has been putting on a working-man off season & its showing. Brock is looking very muscular. Point is: I think we'll see Brock use more of his athleticism this upcoming seaaon. He is more athletic then people think. He's not been asked to use it consistently (including Kyle). And now he's putting on core mucle to protect himself. Fun fact: His sister is also a extremely good athlete noise who just won a major tennis player award. Athletics is a Purdy household trait.
This organization is all about giving praise where it’s due. I love it and so glad Lynch gave grease props! There’s a few people in the media that actually believed in Purdy. I’m not kidding you, I saw Purdy in pre season bring down a 3rd string offense down the field with ease. I knew it then. I knew Trey wasn’t our guy. When he came in the Dolphins game i couldn’t have been more excited!
I wish I believed him. He more or less made it sound like the only reason Purdy Is starting is because the locker room would revolt otherwise. He doesn't think of Purdy as "hiis guy."
Brock Purdy is getting better ALL the time🏈John Lynch is a great GM praising him the way he did🙏🏻49er Faithful😃49ERS FOR LIFE!!!!!!!😁"B"ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Brock Purdy is one of the best quarterbacks in the league in spite of these crazy naysayers. Nick said he wants to see how Brock responds when he needs to come from behind. And so he did it twice during the playoffs, and he is still a naysayer. My guess is that, because he was chosen last, how can all these recruiters have gotten it so wrong?
Yep, looking back, it's nuts that we got a QB like Brock with the last pick - that's fairy tale hail mary stuff. I hope this next season Brock can reach another level in his craft, whatever that might look like. As a long time 49er fan, the last two seasons have been so much fun. Cheering for Brock and the rest of the squad has never felt so dang good. Speaking of the McAfee Show, it's so good to see John Lynch appear on it. He's so articulate for a hard-nosed football guy, and he seems to create positive team culture whatever he's doing, whether interviews or walking the sidelines at the end of games. No doubt players around the leauge will watch the show, and come away with a positive sense of 49er culture.
Great content Brad love the channel thank you! I'm so ready to see how this team is going to be this year John's comments about Brock are a great thing to hear.
I love this time of year since the beginning of football is right around the corner, just a few more months until the new season kicks off 4 months away from regular season football 3 months away from exhibition games 2 months away from training camp (every team starts on a different day I think or towards the end of July)
Uh, Steve, not sure how to break this to you, but Purdy IS throwing it all over the field. Name one throw that he can't make. Purdy set NFL records for accuracy percentage on intermediate throws, and the record for deep throws!
I think the one part of the game he can improve is being less predictable in the pocket. Brock does a good job committing to his passes and staying true to the plan, but I think he's next evolution is gambiting the defense on believing he is over committed to a throw and taking off . I don't ever see Brock being elite in the deep game but he could be elite in creating plays after the pocket collapses
