Some people just aren't meant to have money... This is a clip from The Pat McAfee Show live from 10am-Noon EST Mon-Fri. SUBSCRIBE: / @thepatmcafeeshow MERCH: store.patmcafeeshow.com
nothing like getting an ad saying he "has to pay the bills" after talking about the wrestling ring, golf simulator, and vehicles he doesnt touch😂😂😂 just jokes
The wife and I won a lottery ten years ago,,,we netted $2.3M after taxes. We paid off our modest house and all the bills and parked the money in an account for six months and didn't touch it until we made a plan. Ten years later, I drive a 21 y/o truck ( love it) and live in a nicer house, but we still have $, because we didn't blow it on a bunch of crap we don't need. Lucky me, I know. But I wish there was more financial counseling for these newly minted millionaires that are so very young. So many sad stories about athletes that go broke while average working people live in financial despair trying to make ends meet. All I am saying is, respect the gift and find ways to help the less fortunate. There are small acts of kindness that can make a big difference in people's lives.
They do have people talk about being smart with your money during the NFL Rookie Symposium. But, according to a couple local media guys I've talked to, lotta players sleep through the seminars lol
How old were you when it happened? I fel like once I turned 24 I was more aware of the purchases I was making and how it could have been used differently
You see little excerpts of people in the NFL being told and taught how to spend money and save money at a young age when you have instant Millions the fact that Pat will sit there and talk in detail and how he was feeling and dealing with that very situation is absolutely awesome. I love success stories so I love hearing success stories I thank you for sharing that with us no it does not make you arrogant you are a very humble millionaire and that's why you have so many fans
Pat, I am not a football fan but I love your show. And you've actually got me more interested in football. You are a really talented, interesting, and funny guy.
If you want to make some more space for more bad purchases, I’ll take the golf simulator off your hands Pat. 😂 I’ll even come pick it up myself to save you the hassle. Love the show man!
My first big pay-check from rugby I bought a yellow BMW M5 (yellow! I know) Got drunk one night and instead of hitting the brake to park in my garage I hit the clutch and went through my garage. Ahhh the good ol days 😂
Pat you need to have your version of "The Match" with the boys on that golf simulator. 1 club challenges, closest to the pin, stableford rules, maybe Billy Tubes tackles a trashcan at some point.
Lol I wrestle the Indys in Chicago and do comedy magic. Everyone’s first experience in a wrestling ring is the best because they never expect how hard it is.
When I first got money, I didn't buy any big ticket items, I indulged in every little crap thing like Cappucino's but I didn't go for expensive restaurants or bar tabs. Living in NY I didn't need a car, didn't upgrade my cheap apartment. After a few years I had a big bank account - I was too busy working to spend. Then my wife found me, and that was the end of that. Spend, spend, spend. Funny thing about money, it attracts women like magnets. Even if you don't spend, dress, or behave like you have money - they can smell it.
I always tell myself that im over blowing my money and that if i ever win big on my Fantasy Sports ill save the money (im 22 btw) but ik deep down I’ll probably blow most of it.
Would love to see one day you do the show at ringside. Then for the ad, come down the entrance to promote Fan Duel. Getting in the ring and getting tossed out when you say “now let’s get back to the magic”. Boom. WWPMS. World Wrestling Pat McAfee Show.
Lol if it was an argo they definitely float , but they have plugs for the floor boards. If they are not in they sink if they are in will float for a while but still take on some water best for crossing swamp type areas .
If you need the Bently to go to a good home I have plenty of room in my drive way! hahaha as a huge Mcafee and Hawk fan I will get your moneys worth out of it lol
Looked up his contracts. For the first 4 years (2009-2012) he was making about 450k per year. Decent, but not rich. Then he got franchised tagged in 2013 - $2.9 million. Comes out to about $170k per game, but after taxes probably $100k. Then he signed a 5 year deal for $14.5M. Also is $2.9M per year. So basically $100k per game for the next 5 years. Not bad. Hope he paid off his house at some point.
Honestly I think Pat is a top 5 kicker to play in the NFL!!!!!! Like I truly believe this people. Yes, his stats show tons about who was as a kicker, but actually watch his highlight reels. The dude is a legend!!!!!!! I may be a little biased as I’m a West Virginian, but nobody can honestly say that he didn’t deserve every penny he ever made. Spend your money how you want Pat you deserve it brother.
