Pat McAfee TORCHES ESPN for HONORING Prince Harry 

Prince Harry didn't start invictus, the Royal Family started it and gave it to him to run and since he walked away from his duty and service to his country he has all but destroyed invictus by using it to promote himself and his wife. 2,000 soldiers quit last year for that reason. He is the opposite of Pat Tillman who gave up millions to serve his country where Harry quit service and duty to make millions! And when Harry was in Afghanistan he never fought. They called him bunker Harry because he stayed in a bunker playing XBOX. He's also in trouble for destroying evidence in his lawsuit against a newspaper. And him and Meghan both have had to apologize in court for lying!

Let's not forget that Harry also said our 1st and 2nd amendments are bonkers.

The ESPYs should be boycotted. Let the ratings tank!

He left a life of service to make money. Unlike Pat who left a NFL career to serve his country. He didn’t solely start the Invictus games and was made the patron. He “served” in the military but was sheltered. He doesn’t deserve the award.

Men in the British royal family follow a tradition of military service. This choice was determined for Prince Harry. In his autobiography, Harry published his supposed kill counts during his time when he was supposedly encountering the enemy in Afghanistan. This is not allowed, even for book sales. There is a litany of other details in his autobiography illustrating his rampant lack of character. The public’s push back with Harry receiving this award is due to his lack of character aside of his wife’s.

Harry did have his own security team to protect him. Yes he was there but he did sit in the bunker playing Playstation. Hence his nuckname "Bunker Harry". He didn't start Invictus, the Palsce staff, his brother and sister in law started it and gave it to him to keep him out of trouble. Prince Harry didn't really start the Invictus Games. It was a joint venture between himself, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Ministry of Defence. As for his military service, sure he served but he had an SAS bodyguard during his tours and much of his active duty was spent in this tent playing X-Box games then on top of that, he bragged about this kill count on this book. I think what's ticking people off as that this is the same dude who turned his back on his family and his country for the kitty and condems our country's first amendment.

Harry spent war in a private bunker with a Playstation, surrounded by the equivalent of our Navy Seals. Harry did not start Invictus. He and William started it, with William stepping aside, letting Harry run it, but Harry has never onve goven money to the charity whereas William and Catherine spent $1 mill. Harry's wife uses this charity to get her private jets, and even charges the charity for her new clothes - which she literally changes 4 times a day - and top tier hotel rooms. They don't give a damn about the charity. Harry is the most spoiled brat I've ever seen. All men in the royal family go in to the military, including both the present King, and brother William, who also became a life flight helicopter pilot, rescuing people off the water in distress. He saved like 250 people or something.

The problem is that all the other people who have won this award did not backstab their family, use their royal titles for personal financial gain, did not ask for privacy and then do everything to get attention, torment Queen Elizabeth before her death, and more There's a lot of negative baggage that comes with this guy, and that's what people are also reacting to. Being a Nam vet, USMC, I can pretty much put my money on he was "in the rear, with the gear" and never "on point" during a patrol, or even close to a patrol. On the "ground" and "in the fight"....waaaay different. Nope, no award, especially a US one.

Please, do some more research. There is a lot more information about Henry’s 10 years of service and his tours. There is a reason people are so outraged, this reaction would not be what it is IF Henry is as noble as you describe.

ESPN should give the award to the The Invictus Games as an organization not to one specific person. There are many hardworking people behind the scenes that keep the IG a success. The fundraisers deserve a lot of credit. He did not single handily form the IG. Prince William, Princess Catherine and his father KC3 were also instrumental in forming the IG though Harry gives them no credit. He saw the US Warrior games and copied the idea. The award should be in the name of the organization not Harry. So far their are 46,000 signatures against giving him the award. Note: the award will also help him with his Visa problem.

No, he was not really fighting, too dangerous. He had a team of special force to protect him, but it was not his choice. Don't take we wrong, he is probably a courageous guy, but he was such a symbolic target, that nobody in England wanted to take any risk of drama. The Navy (Annapolis Naval Academy)and the Army (West Point Academy)produced many good athletes, football players and basketball players(Navy vet David Robinson, Spurs) that saw combat duty, and they give it to Harry, who is not even a U.S. veteran. Oh dear. I've been enjoying your channel, which I only found a couple of months ago. Really wish I hadn't seen this one, but I get that you aren't really all that familiar with Harry, so I'm not in buzz saw mode. But you asked for opinion, and having taken my blood pressure meds I'm ready to share. Buckle up. Harry is a Prince born, but I don't acknowledge that because of his behavior (you'll see). He was born into the British Royal Family, but has spent most of his time since teenage years acting like a spoiled brat, responsible for nothing, and covered for by his family and the British press. Yes, he spent those years technically in the military. The Royal Family has a strong tradition of military service and although it wasn't required he did go. He survived what we would call Boot camp. I give credit for that. Full stop. He went to the Afghanistan and was in the general area that was close to action. But he was in not in harm's way to any great extent. He may have been remotely involved in taking out combatants, but with no real danger to himself. He was protected by a detail of other soldiers and possibly Royal protection officers. Although the media knew he was there, there was a blackout in force for it so he was not subject to additional risk, and because of this an argument could be made that those serving with him may have been subject to additional risk had it been leaked. When he WAS in the air, (he was a gunner, didn't qualify as a pilot), there were one or two planes underneath in case a missile was launched. That plane would have taken the hit. The news was eventually leaked by Australian and American media and he was immediately evacuated. He later wrote that as he was on his evacuation flight he saw the wounded and deceased and for the first time realized the cost of war. So you tell me how in ten years he doesn't see wounded or dead up close and expect me to believe he was in there fighting with the rest of the soldiers? Life on the line like the rest of them? NO WAY. Then the obnoxious git comes back and other than a few appearances here and there spends his time playing polo, drinking, and taking drugs. He attended the Warrior Games here in the US with the Obamas and took the idea back to the UK. Along with his father, William and Catherine and a large staff they put together the Invictus Games. Harry became the face of it and in charge. It went okay and he did seem to show some compassion and care for the veterans. Then he met and married the toe rag. Suffice to say you are do NOT want to get me started on her. It's no longer about the veterans. It becomes a PR exercise for them and she waltzes around in unbecoming fashion. They charge all of their expenses to the funds for the Games even though they are independently wealthy, leaving the veterans to make their own way. The next thing you know after several tantrums and a refusal to allow the petulant prince to be co-King with his brother he threw all his toys out of the crib and announced he was taking himself, his wife, and his son and moving away. They called his bluff, so he went thru with it. Conveniently forgetting the oath he swore to Queen and country. Then, as his grandfather lay dying and his Grandmother had bone cancer, he was his wife called the family racist. They then mocked them in a documentary, and he wrote a book revealing personal and family happenings and conversation's invading their privacy. He bragged about his "kill count" which is not okay, and bragged about taking illegal drugs. Which he still does. Here in the US. They continue to launch further attacks on the family and their fans have even sent death threats to William and Catherine 's children. There's something wrong about their foundation, and finances. He has openly stated our first amendment rights are bonkers. They are involved with the same organization trying to put legislation through that could censor our freedom of speech. State of Missouri vs Biden. He is also pushing court cases in England to get PPI status. If he does, taxpayers dollars in whatever country they're in (they live here) go to fund their security and they get diplomatic immunity for any violations they do. He's still battling the heritage foundation for his visa paperwork to be released because many believe he lied on it. Which makes him here illegally. The Biden administration has covered for him. Trump says he won't. So I think Mary Tillman is right. He's not the kind of person that embodies the spirit of her son.

I liked you but you have done VERY little Research about Harry's Military Career. Firstly, He was SENT there by his grandmother ,he did not " volunteer" . At that time. he was getting in trouble on all the front pages in the Uk. They put him in the military for P.R! ( Later found out that someone else took his enterance exams to go to Officer ((Military) School Sandinger) his tours were 16 weeks each not really 10 years Next He was NEVER in the front lines. He was in a bunker protected by British Special Forces , doing drugs ( so much that they flew him out so he wouldn't get caught during drug testing on base FACT) Even the film of him running fir cover was later ADMITTED to be have been FAKED. I can go on and on but Even the Invictus games were HANDED to him after being started for him by the Royal Foundation ( to give him something to do). He has since ruined them to the point where hundreds of vets are now leaving the organization. So much this disgraceful man child has done too much to mention here. During his military "career", if he was on the frontline, they would tell Harry to stay put in the bunker until the fighting died down. He spent a lot of time playing video games. The Invictus games was started by Queen Elizabeth. She handed off the project o Prince Williams (older brother and heir to throne) and Prince Harry (the Blue Todger Spare). They were jointly involved with the project until Harry married. Harry's wife pretty much made the annual games a fashion show and about her. He openly stated in his "autobiography" that he uses weed, mushroom, and cocaine. So how is he able to enter our country? He's protected by Biden. Also, he publicly made a statement saying the US's 1st amendment is BS. He gave up his royal status and privileges and escaped his homeland with his wife to gain "freedom". He disown his family and country and bad-mouth both family and country every chance he gets BUT still wants everyone in the world to call him Prince Harry and treat him as a royalty.
