Totally agree. I saw some demos that seemed so over the top I could not relate to my normal life. However watching this made me reconsider. She is very talented and made it look sophisticated!

Hi Tania, I want to thank u for taking the time and effort in doing 6 looks, u gave me inspo, and while I was so excited for the green, u really inspired me with the navy, I thought the looks with the navy were my absolute favorite. Of course, all the looks were so pretty,but there was something with the navy, navy would’ve been the last color I touched, but u inspired me to use it, so thank u, I thought it was so pretty in the looks u chose. Honestly initially I was going to pass, but now I'm going to pick it up. I'm glad it's toned down more wearable for work and it will work with all of her other palettes. Love the looks.
I'm with you Tania, it's not a palette I'm gravitating towards at all. I have a decent amount of indie palettes that have excellent bold, bright colourful shades, so this isn't a palette I actually need. I do think the brown could've carried more weight had it been deeper. As far as I could see, it seemed to get lost and didn't quite provide the definition that I look for in a dark brown colour. Anyhoooooo, I thought the looks you created were amazing and so beautiful 😍. Oh, to be half as talented as you would be a dream come true. Love ya loads 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙
After seeing several reviews now plus yours I’m definitely passing on this one. I love certain Pat McGrath Motherships and Quads and have to say that her dynamic shimmers are what make her shadows unique. I do also love her mattes. I wasn’t moved when I saw the promo pics and I’m just not really one to wear such colorful mattes so often. I know many love this palette and it’s giving what they want and that’s wonderful.
I think I’m in the same boat as you are. If I didn’t have RU-vid I probably would have skipped this palette just because I don’t wear such colorful looks. I love my neutrals😂
Though initially I was quite excited when I saw the colours, I feel that this palette is basically a colourful mattes + usual Pat pinky/ golden/ browny shades. I would have loved to see a mash up of colourful metallics... those look amazing on the eyelids. Like a shimmer metallic forestgreen. And then these deeper mattes from the palette would pair amazingly in the crease. That being said, I doubt whether she will release a colourful palette anytime soon, which kinda makes me want to purchase this one. Decisions decisions....
I really really wish that she would’ve put a really metallic forest green like you said. I think it would’ve really change the palette and made it more interesting. Maybe even a deep navy sparkly blue!!
I have very similar makeup tastes as you and have been eyeing up this palette. I know after watching that if I bought this, it would just sit in my collection. I also don’t care for the last 6 shades and would never use them. Thank you for sacrificing your eyelids and doing 6 looks because it was really helpful in deciding if this was for me or not. I am curious about the other smaller palettes coming out. They look like existing shades to me but I’m not sure. Thank you for another great video!
I was so excited for this palette but once I took a step back I realized I wouldn’t use it that much so I passed. Thank you for the looks. All the looks were pretty. Thank you also for your honesty. ❤❤
Thank you for your honest review! I'm going to pass because I have all of the standout colors in other palettes. I have the lovely emerald green in the Pat McGrath Mothership II Sublime palette, and the purples and blues in the Natasha Denona Purple Blue 28 palette, the red color in the Pat McGrath Mothership V Bronze Seduction palette. The rest are neutral browns and golds we have a million times over. But for those who don't have a lot of Pat's big palettes, I think this is a great way to get some fun colors all in one palette.

Great honest review, I agree with everything you said. It’s good to finally see less pink from PML. But as a PML lover, who also has a lot of eyeshadow, this is a pass. What I enjoy about PML is the experience of the luxury packaging and the special shades which is not what this is. If you do own the majority of her motherships however, you will already have the most special blue and purple and green. I would recommend a first time buyer to wait and get a mothership in the sale instead. I loved the looks you created with the palette especially the last one! Thank you. ❤
Love your review but I do feel differently. This palette is gorgeous! The looks are beautiful. Great formula! All shades are smooth and buildable. I have the palette - No, it’s not a super fabulous palette we’re accustomed to from PML. But this one really is not bad at all. ❤

You are creative, inspiring and spoil us with so many looks in your initial review which is so helpful. I am more interested in the face palettes and 5 pans and skipping this. I prefer colour as shimmers rather than vibrant mattes with the usual neutral, pink or gold shimmers. As a neutral lover I have no hesitation to wear green shimmer but cannot say the same for green matte. Cannot wait to see if you review the 5 pans and face palettes!!!
Hearing your final thoughts was very interesting. I feel like the left gold should have been a green shimmer and personally would have preferred the far right be a peach and softer orange colour story. I cannot think of a mothership with a peach shimmer and regret that the only one was in last years mega which I didn’t buy. I would prefer a warm soft sunrise over the dark orange and reds.
I love the packaging, I wish she'd make all her outer packaging like this. As far as buying it, I am not sure, I only have her 6 pan palettes right now, not any of the big ones. This is nice but maybe too colourful for me.

You created some truly beautiful looks with this palette. To be honest I’m drifting away from colour lately and I want more wearable makeup… (even though my display pic has me in blue eyeshadow and lipstick lol!) but this was just not drawing me in. I love Celestial Odyssey from last year too.
Lovely job as always, creating stunning looks. These holiday releases from PM have always been a pass for me; although I almost bought the one from last Christmas, as the dark and sultry colors are my go to.

Beautiful, wearable looks. I have to be honest though… the only colors I will use, will be a hint of a colorful metallic or sparkle shade. I’m basic. Give me beautiful shimmering bronzes, taupes and golds…
Hi Tania, All the eye looks were beautiful! However this palette is not for me. I tend to gravitate towards more neutral and "earthy" tones, the only color I would use is the purple.
I think the 5 pan palettes that she came out with for holiday are more my style and you may like them as well. I picked up both colors and will be doing a review❤️❤️
The color story just isn’t speaking to me for this palette. I am however a soft glam girl & will buy the same color stories over and over. I’m excited about the Huda palette dropping, I can’t wait to get it. Will you be trying that one?

great video some of the purple looks were gorgeous looked like a sunset. I wont be buying this pallet because there are too many colors i wont use like navy and purples make me look sick so i got one of the 5 pans
I don't understand why you did not like the palette since you created just beautiful looks with it ? I almost bought the palette after seeing your looks then I heard your critique and now I don't know what to do?
The palette looks cheap. I don't own any of her pallets but the others I have seen you use have some really interesting shades. These colors don't seem very exciting. I want to try one of her pallets but can't decide which one. I tend to stick to neutrals but wouldn't mind a little pop of color. Thanks for sharing. Will definitely skip this one.
I honestly don’t disagree with you. I do find that it looks a little bit cheap I just don’t know what makes it look that way. I would say that the mothership 10 is the most neutral but with amazing texturey toppers!!
Did you have a hard time cleaning your brushes? 😅 I just got this palette and will be using my rephr brushes but I was worried the stain might not go away
Your looks are so pretty but it’s a pass for me. Her palettes are hit and miss. I love shimmer without so much fallout. Nomad palettes are becoming my favorite.
