Hi Lexi - I am one of many who think the Twilight Platinum is fantastic - I love that shade and also how it shifts a bit taupe.I think it would be too glittery for me although I could use it as a liquid liner for a night out very happily! I do love the satiny formulation of the Armani - if they have a shade like the Pat M one that would be perfect. The L E green/olive shadow looks nice too. I do enjoy seeing all the shade comparisons and your description of the differences in texture and quality are superb as always - thank you!
Nice to see all the shades! I had a difference experience with these, the LE ones have more playtime for me than these PML ones. I do like the extra sparkle the PML has. I got 4 shades. The darn champagne shade was sold out soooo fast ❤ great review
Lexi, I always say it, but you always give the best reviews! I skipped out on the PM liquid shadows when they launched, but now I want them all! They look so gorgeous! I'm just glad they aren't limited edition - hopefully the sold out colors come back in stock soon! I love the Twilight Platinum!! It's my fave♥︎
You are one of my favorite RU-vidrs! I love how you are honest, show arm and eye swatches, and blend out with your fingers and a brush! It makes it so helpful when deciding what to buy. ❤
Wow these look incredible on you and the swatches really show the shine. I’m not the biggest fan of liquid shadow because of the blotchy look or not easy to apply. But in your demo they looked very easy to apply & blend on the eye. I will now have to pick up a couple. I can see their selling out. Thanks for a really thorough review and demo! 😊🌺
Twilight Platinum is a stunner! I received mine order earlier this week (Really fast shipping to the UK by PMG this time!). I got Divine Champagne and Luna Rose - I thought I'd like the Divine Champagne more but actually love Luna Rose on the eyes and it pairs well with the all matte Velvet Liason palette. But Platinum Bronze is just stunning on the eyes, it's my favourite hands down, so far! The sparkle almost makes it a cream version of the "special" shades. Twilight Seduction was sold out at the time but its available on Selfridges this morning (Friday) so I just snapped that up pronto. I think the quality is excellent - they stay absolutely put until you take it off at night. I apply with a blending brush for a more diffused wash of colour on the lids. On a separate note, by way of update, I received a refund finally this week from Byredo for the returned Purple Echo palette I had originally bought from Selfridges. So pleased that saga is now over. I hope you are well otherwise!
I ordered the Luna Rose and Platinum Bronze as soon as they came out and I am really happy with them, too. I wasn’t expecting much, but they are really great. I have some of the Lisa Eldridge and also one Chanel, and that’s the extent of my liquid shadows-oh and a really old Armani one. These are really great for quick eye looks that look like way more effort than they are, and also as powder shadow toppers. I also ordered the two palettes with this release and they play really well with the shadows. So well, in fact, that I ordered the Smoldering Seduction shade as well. Loved seeing the comparisons. Thanks, Lex!
@@LexiJong I forgot, I also recently added some of the Hindash liquid pigments and I also love those! But here I am today about to order a Violette Yeux paint in that new sparkly dahlia shade, and maybe one of the nude-ish mattes. I really love her brand and like to support it.
I shouldn't have watched this video, now I want a few of these eye shadows! They look great and they looked so bland in the promo photos... Greats swatches and comparisons as always!
Watched this earlier but we moved with some stuff for a week rest to our beachhouse, hubby and i, but a great video and loved all comparisons, thanks so much, i stopped PMG shadows because of my more sensitive eyes now, but these look great, thanks, Lexi, and have a wonderful day!!!!🤩🤩😘😘🤩🤩😘😘
They all look amazing on you Lexi! So so beautiful. How does platinum bronze and twilight platinum compare to your favorite taupe eyeshadows? I would be curious to see a comparison. Thank you so much for all you you are truly appreciated
Lexi!! You look absolutely stunning!! I am so happy to see a video from you when I least expected. Thank you!! These shades look lovely and the green one is my favorite!! Thank you for the detailed review as always!! ❤
Amazing! The Love Collection was not on my radar at all, so I didn't even realize she was releasing these. Fantastic review and I can't wait until there's restock because I'll pick up a couple that are oos already! Awesome comps and great eye on picking up something different! Thank you!!!
Thanks for all of the swatches and comparisons. I’m not at all brave with sparkle, but the Armani might be something I’d try one day. They are fabulous on you. By the way, your sweater is lovely. Have a great weekend, Lexi! Xx
Hey Lexi , thanks for uploading fast. I will be picking the platinum color along with new suqqu at Harrods using your link. The problem is I cannot complete my order is that melting blush 105 I can’t find it at Harrods and I don’t know if it is already out of stock or what 😢😢
This is so so helpful thank you!!! How long are the Lisa Eldridge ones expected to last until expiration? I'm trying to figure out if overall the PMG have the most sparkle or if some of the other LE shades have more
It is so hard to read it off the bottom of the tube but I think it says 4 months. I should have the info from the box in this video though: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VwyfeNIkcNc.html
I couldn’t resist Moodston, so I ordered through your link to Cirque Colors. Pony up and very Valentino, another order for Dove Jelly, Paradox and Mobius. Weee
Could that Cosmic Chartreuse be my dream green liquid stay-put eyeshadow? I was hopeful, however, when you applied, the green just seemed to disappear into a gold-shimmer haze (unlike most of the others that stayed true). The whole point for me would be 1&Done, I cannot be messing around on a work day, trains don't wait around. I think I'll need to test at Selfridges but suddenly I'm not as hopeful 🤥. Thank you as always!!!
Yes the green is more sheer than the other shades. Even the Violette shade goes a bit sheer so I haven't found a perfect green yet but that one is still my favorite.
The sparkles in these are great because they help hide any imperfections with application so I think these are a great choice or the Sheer Shimmer formula from Armani. The Lisa Eldridge is also a nice option. I think you should decide which finish you prefer on your eyes and then pick from one of these brands. I would probably recommend the Armani Sheer Shimmer version to start as it really can blend out sheerly and you can practice building it up as you desire. It's just a bit more forgiving than the more strongly pigmented liquids imo.
Thanks Lexi. You’re the one reviewer I trust on liquid shadows (and much more). I almost ordered the whole line of these but ended up with 2 only. Mine haven’t arrived but I’m super excited now. Violette_Fr has become my favorite too so I know I will love these if you do.
