thank you very much! I really appreciate your comment. It took me a while to figure out the whole solo, it was a period of my life when I was practicing many hours a day. It was technically really hard to manage, and overall to get its feeling. Metheny is extremely hard to transcribe
Thanks! Good question: I felt that the combination of the guitar on its bridge pickup, the amp and the pedals would have helped me to achieve a similar Metheny sound. About the tone warmness, I don't know, might be a lot of things (dynamics, pick, the mentioned gear, etc).
great playing! which guitar are you using because it looks like a Metheny model but it has a bridge pickup and the tailpiece looks different on what these 2 pickup Metheny models have?
