am I right in thinking that you cant use a standard tester on a pc and monitor, as they use 500v I guess only the expensive tester give you different power options to test pc equipment ?
You run a soft test, insulation is tested at 230v instead and earth bond at 10A instead of 25A..... this is mainly for PCs and other assets with HDD/SSD or sensitive PBCs (RAM) Some guys opt for the even softer 200mA earth continuity test (designed for assets with FE functional earth)
