If it is on land, sea, air or gridiron, leaders take command with competency, compassion and commitment. “Boots to Cleats” draws out the similarities between those who served/serve with boots laces and those who lace up their cleats. From military leaders, to leaders in their field, Tillman scholars are leaders in their field of work. From their military careers on active duty, reservist, veteran and spouse, these scholars are making an impact in their communities and abroad. On the field, football players lead teams to victory. From first down, to touch down to champions, coaches and players lead the charge to achieve their mission, week after week, of performing their best and inspiring their teammates to follow.
