@Yeet Yeet you can read about him if you want, the information is all out there. He was probably even further left than most liberals, considering the fact that he had correspondence with Noam Chomsky before he died and even had plans to do an interview with him after his second tour; this interview was to be anti-war in nature, because Tillman was also anti-war
I don't know a lotta millionaires. I don't know anybody that walked away from a multi-million dollar contract to enlist in the Army. And then for Pat to become a Ranger!?! Pat had nearly a 4.0 when he graduated from college. Every branch of the military would have tripped over their collective _icks to offer a guy named Pat Tillman a commission. Hell, we would have been happy for Pat simply to join the USO tour on occasions and toss a few footballs to the troops. But when Pat made up his mind to join up, he didn't take the easy path ... he became a Ranger to get into the shi_ quick. If only the men and ESPECIALLY THOSE HIGH RANKING OFFICERS that helped pass off the false narrative about Pat's death ... if they had just one scintilla of the guts that Pat Tillman had, maybe, just maybe we wouldn't have such a big, bunch, of dishonorable people in high places ... "Perfume Princes in the Pentagon", as Colonel Hackworth used to call them; telling their civilian superiors what they wanted to hear. Any man or woman that ever wore a military uniform, whether they went to war or not; when a stranger comes to them on the street and thanks them for their service, they do so in part because of stories of heroic deeds of servicemen and women from years past with those deeds often resulting in death of the service member on the battlefield. Those strangers on the street confuse us with people like Corporal Tillman. Pat Tillman would not have lied and he would not have been part of any false narrative, and the actions of any man or woman who knew full well what had happened and failed in his responsibility to tell the truth, they only serve to bring shame to the uniform that so many heroes like Pat Tillman wore.
Tillman is a beast. Anyone should hope to be as great of an American as he is. I will not talk about him as a was, or in a past tense. He is what every American should hope to be.
It sickens me when people use the dead and claim they’d say this or that. Pat went to war for his country and supported positivity through example. Did you not see how he felt about the national anthem? He loved his country and what that flag means for ALL our freedoms. You sir can’t speak on Pat. He died with our freedom in his heart. Period. Leave him out of this unfair political bs.
No. We need people to wake up and realize we have never gone to war for "freedom". Anybody who promotes this crooked American Industrial War Complex is treasonous.
You should read 'Where Men Win Glory.' Pat was a patriot but he was also incredibly caring and sympathetic to the struggles of others. I don't think his reaction to all this would be as obvious as you think. He would call a spade a spade and I doubt he'd have been a fan of Trump.
@@chrisk79 The issues and problems we face as a country didn't start with Trump, they won't end with him and truthfully they are much bigger than he will ever be. It's really not about him, it's more about we the people. We can keep lurching leftward to our own demise, or we can take a good look at our national character and repent of what we have become. It's on us.
Pat Tillman was killed in a friendly fire "accident" after he expressed doubt about the American mission in Afghanistan. He was "shot three times in the head at less than 10 yards away, according to Army doctors" and "members of Tillman's unit burned his body armor and uniform in an apparent attempt to hide the fact that he was killed by friendly fire."
No greater love has a man than he lay his life down for his friends, (and his country). Maybe learn that lesson first CK. Until then you are just a thorn in everyone’s *##
Watch “the Tillman story” this guy was patriotic at first until he realized the truth. This documentary was made and approved by his family! Many lies were told surrounding his death
Crazy to see all these Faux news consumers in the comments here, not knowing shit about the guy, other than he was the poster boy for the quagmire we are still in, 19 years later. Right-wing media did him an injustice, and portrayed him in a light he would not have wanted.
@@gtrob1 Lol the whole entire mainstream media apparatus left wing and right wing was spouting the establishment lies and tried to cover up the real story.. News flash fox news is controlled opposition and separating it from the whole mainstream media conglomerate is ignorant.
Lorenzo Duarte you seem to hate on everything. Why don’t you go out and serve in a war and find out if it’s serious or not. You must be a navy seal the way you talk
I am AMAZED that our children do not even remember September 11th and the brave POLICE AND FIREMAN WHO DIED saving others and the countless soldiers who fought in the middle east
I have watched Pat Tillman play for Arizona Cardinals as a warrior of the game. He became a hero once he enlisted into the military and carried his warrior instincts into battle and fought a good fight. Until his end. He is a true warrior and hero in God's Hall of Fame. Go Cardinals!
There's plenty of atheist converted on his death bed. God's looking at the heart of those that lay their lives for others. He fought to defend Afghans and other Americans in a firefight for their lives. He laid his life for his military brothers that day. 😎👍🇺🇸
@@raysantiago3750 he never had a death bed; his head was blown off from three 5.56 rounds from a SAW gunner. If you’re already dead, how can you repent?
Cardinals never take a Knee. National Anthem get Fired up. Hear Pat's word. 2020 Cardinals take a knee shame on them. Never give up. United and Stand for the Cardinals.
And when he found out he was fighting for opium fields and wanted to leave and lead an anti war movement. He was suddenly killed by "friendly fire". You wack jobs love to scream foolery and propaganda, not knowing, or not caring what's behind it. I'm glad the Cardinals and whom every else took a knee, keeps taking it. Being that a veteran suggested that's just how Kapernick should protest, I'll respect that over some souped up Hoo Ha geeked up on America!!! bullshit.
@@odamiamiller7173 Grow up Men fought wars since the beginning of time. We have a Senile President . War last resort. The best training is for Young Men and Women to join the Military. Quit 😢 and enjoy life .
We need more pat tillman,s. I hope he made heaven. He was a good man with a good heart. He was very patriotic.we need more young men with his attitude.
I admire his patriotism, but sadly he died unsaved from what we know. The only way to heaven is to believe in Jesus Christ not that he just existed but that he died for our sins.
@chenle void It's God with a capital G and yes I can thank God for anyone I want to. At least Pat fought for our country and not against it! Thank you and I thank God for you too!🙏❤️🇺🇲
This is for those ungrateful players that forget what our symbols stand for. We are not perfect country but it has done well for their citizens once we moved away from sad past. Let's unified and live happily, life is not forever.
It's fortunate for kaperwhatever that our Hero Tillman isn't around to watch his antics .............kaperwhatshisface is qualified to carry his canteen.
A TRUE "American." And EVERY "American" should watch The Pat Tillman Story documentary. It will open your eyes and your minds, and help you see our world as it really is.
True American Patriot, he had his priorities in line long before any of these other panty waste players, God rest your soul Pat, your legacy will live forever!
I sat on red hill last night and watched fireworks in several towns and thought about where we’re going. Every American should be ready to defend our great country as our forefathers did to give us the freedoms we have. Mr. Tillman did just that.
What a LEGEND... makes me sick to my stomach what the NFL is today. Drew Brees needed to see this video before he tucked his tail between his legs and gave into the idiots who criticized him for what he believed.
It's sad that the propaganda effected him so hard and even more sad he realized things too late. Imagine of he made it home and shared what he saw, the world would be different I feel
A guy he served, Russel Bear I believe, said that the first day they were in Iraq Pat turned to him and said “this war is immoral”. I don’t think he realized it to late, I just think he didn’t want anyone to die for him.
As a Vet who was religiously persecuted for choosing God over choosing a vaccine. I wish i could have had his America and most importantly i wish i could have had his Army. I would absolutely see my dream get taken away in becoming an Army Ranger over choosing God. Just wish everyone could remember the cost of freedom. Me and friends remember they were casualties of bad leadership and politics. Killed by their own. We treat our own soldiers just like the Russians treat their conscripts. His Pl was my CG and I will never forget their names.
One of the best ESPN 30 for 30s I ever saw and I wish someone would explain to me why (even though I pretty much know why - cough cough conspiracy) they don’t play it ever anymore and why you can’t even find it to watch. I bet hed have a lot to say about the country we live in today… what a dang mess. Thanks for posting!
This is what a true American looks like and a person with pride and compassion for others and would lay his life on the line ! THIS IS AMERICAN MADE BTW!
Pat Tillman was a true American hero. To hear Brett Favre compare Colin Kaepernick to Tillman is an absolute disgrace. Screw Kaepernick and quite frankly, screw Brett Favre. Rest In Peace, Pat.
True hero. Humble, respectful and proud. I still can't believe that Brett Favre disrespected him so badly by comparing a piece of shit like Colin Kaepernick to him. RIP Pat. You were one of my all-time favorite players and will forever be one of my all-time favorite heroes!
