Hi, both hats give good coverage. The Sun Blocker give more neck coverage. It really comes down to which hat you think your child will be most happy to wear or to put that another way the hat they are most likely to forget they are wearing so they won't pull it off! Personally I prefer the breakaway clip to the velcro, it's a little more fiddly to secure but I think more comfortable to wear. Hope this helps!
