Hi, thanks for your comments. I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag and pad. Because if you arrive there little late, they won't have it. I brought my own but it got wet so I wanted rent it but they were all out. I had to use my damp sleeping bag 😔 Tip: make sure to put your sleeping bag in a plastic bag. I had hyperlite backpack which suppose to be waterproof, but still got wet.
Do you know if it's possible to get to Punta Arenes from Santiago by road? I'm asking cause if I fly to Arenas it's gonna cost me about $5000, but to Santiago its about $1500, both Torres and Ojos del Salado is on my bucket list but to get there from South Africa is rather expensive.
