Hi Jina! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos of these Slot Canyons. I am planning to go there this October. You didn't have time for Reflection Canyon, Jina?
Hi Jina, I tried to get this permit several times. Do you have to pick Kearsarge with "Whitney exit" right. I can get the kearsarge entry but even when I log on at 7am sharp, the exit permits are never available. Did you just get lucky or can you give me a secret how to get one? Lol I want to do that because I've never been over Forester Pass. Looked beautiful with so much running water. Thanks. ❤
I love your video! We are looking to backpack this area early July. Were there more mosquitos where camped near Waterwheel or at Glen Aulin backpackers' campground? Thanks for any infornation!
@@jinsjewelry Thank you for getting back to me. I viewed your other youtube videos and really admire your family's adventurous spirit! You also look amazing despite backpacking for days and weeks! :)
what a hike!! so many awesome waterfalls, one was so tall wow! non stop amazing views. glad you figured out a way to get there without the permit, thanks for taking us with you
Yes, this is a beautiful and relatively easy trek. No need to get any permits, as the area is totally deserted during the winter months. It is when the Desolation part in the D.W. name truly regains its meaning.
Looks like a challenging and beautiful hike! Thank you so much for sharing!! Leave no trace is important though, and while many think of pack in/pack out and staying on trail, it also includes taking only pictures of flowers so they are there for others to see.
Who named it Cleo's bath? All the other names have changed, why not Cleo's bath? Pinecrest was the civilian campground. What about Dodge Ridge, the Bunny Hill. Camp McBride is not even a memory. So much for Yosemite Area Council.
Good video. I appreciate you doing it. You sound like you worked hard on the last 4 trails. I'm 70 years old so I'm going to have to work hard to get into shape just to try these! Thanks again.
If you have a hard time adjusting in high altitude, you should. Otherwise, all 6 of us were fine without camping near that trail prior to hiking. Happy trails 👣 💓
We went on before the storm. It was pretty hard to walk on. Every step, we had to break the snow surface. ( about 90 percent of the trail) It would be much easier when there is a fresh layer of snow. It took us 10 hours total.
