We went to a ranch in Chile's Patagonia that is only accessible by boat. We left Puerto Natales at 7 am spent the whole day on La Peninsula Estancia. Highlights include riding white horses through the mountains, herding sheep across the river, eating lamb cooked over an open fire, and watching a ram get sheared! It was a fantastic way to end our Patagonia adventure!

WHO ARE KARA AND NATE?!
New here? We are full-time travel vloggers with a goal of visiting 100 countries before 2019. We make daily travel videos. In these videos you can expect to see the best foods and adventures of every country we visit. ;)
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I am so blown away by the intelligence of the dogs knowing what to do, and to be able to just teach the new dogs whats what. You can see how seriously they take their rolls and just love seeing them feeling satisfied with having purpose.

It's so fascinating to hear people talk about 'those moments'. So many people think the same... they think that MOMENT is when you 'step outside yourself and take it all in' but that MOMENT is actually when you're most fully PRESENT and IN your body, recognizing and feeling all that beauty instead of just doing the task, going on the drive, visiting the place etc. The moment is where you're actually the most IN your body and it's so beautiful to watch people have those moments! Thank you for sharing them!!

It's so awesome to get to see, and hear, about the life of a sheep herder. It's so interesting. It certainly is a different way of life. I also love getting to see sheep dogs working, doing their thing. It's not every day you get to see these type of herding dogs in their element, doing the thing they are bred to do. ❤ 🐶 🐑

Our 10 week old puppy couldn’t be settled tonight! She was captivated by the vlog and just sat and watched the entire video with the sheep, dogs, and horses! So cute, wish I could share the pic.

I quietly sobbed during the drone footage, it was so beautiful. I felt it calling out to me to visit with that little ache in my chest and it just spilled out. I had to remind myself of all of the traveling adventures I've had and be grateful for them, the sights and smells and pleasure and memories they provided, in order to bring myself back from the sadness. I know you know. One of your best ever and the pleasure you took in this day only added to my own.

Thia is such a beautiful video! The music, the drone footage, the editing are worthy of the landscape. The work on this is as skillful and effortless as Ian the Gaucho's work with the horses, sheep and dogs. I am a huge fan of livestock guardian dogs, so it wa so wonderful to see them working with the herding dogs to get the flock across the river. I come back and re watch this episode to make sure I have good dreams..

Ok, coming at this a year and a half later, and many of your vlogs still to go, but your drone footage of the sheep herding - particularly the organization of the river crossing - was just friggin’ amazing. Killer footage, great angles and movement to really show the dynamics of the undertaking, and tightly edited. I assume your drone-fu has only gotten better since then.
