Patagonian BaseCamp Flyfishing Chile 2023 

This film of 30 minutes is a good summary of a flyfishing journey of two enthusiastic Dutch fly fishermen from the Netherlands. They visited the northern part of Chilean Patagonia in January 2023. The flyfishing was done at the Patagonian BaseCamp lodge located on the banks of the rio Palena in the 11th region of Aisen in Chile.
The film gives a good impression of the whole package and the verity of flyfishing, the beautiful lodge, the local food with international cuisine, equipment, the rare wildlife moments and in what circumstances and beautiful surroundings the flyfishing takes place. There are endless possibilities in rivers and lakes surrounded by evergreen virgin rain forests and mountains of which the peaks are covered in snow and glaciers. The fish that were caught were rainbow and brown trouts. It was an awesome vacation.
