I hope Riot finds a way to make the stat “durability” easy to understand. It took me 3 months to understand that DR multiplied with Armour and Magic Resist, rather than just being a flat reduced damage taken.
@@Frogfish999 Yeah, but the way HP works is More HP = tankier. While having lots of DR, while low armour and magic resist = dead. HP is also a great way to counter true damage, but DR is just a weaker stat.
36:06 - Are you sure Emblem Arcana doesn't apply to emblems on Golems/Dummies? The trait says emblems on "units", and I'm pretty sure I've seen it apply. Edit: I think there also needs to be clarity on the High Arcana tag. It says "Use this on an Arcana champion", but I have just seen a game from Kiyoon where he was able to use it on a Golem holding an Arcana emblem to get the damage amp. Perhaps an appropriate middle ground is to count all units holding emblems, but to require the High Arcana to be a champion. That way you'd need a Golem/Dummy PLUS a seperate Arcana emblem for the payoff.
I'm pretty sure they did clarify not to include the items or emblems on the Golems/Dummies because they're too broken. Imagine getting +100% Damage Amp with 5 Arcana that had Arcana Emblem Dummy/Flexible in it. The same way is applied with Sugarcraft as well, they don't count the items on the Golem/Dummies to prevent exploits.
@@louiegilalano7685 Sugarcraft specifies items held by champions. Built Different, for example, applies to golems because it says "your units with no active traits". They definitely need to clarify their intention given the discrepancy between the text and Mort's comment in this video.

I know the set just came out and this kind of happens with each new set, but it feels really bad this time around, I feel like it hasn't been this bad since like set 3: So many of the unit arts look identical. In just the one-cost units alone, twitch and warwick look the same, poppy and zoe look the same, lillia and seraphine look the same. Many of the sugarcraft and chrono units look the same, it feels like such an overwhelming mess when sets come out like this.
Can you find tier one charms in later stages as well? And can you find stuff like getting permanent 4% 5cost odds multiple times in a row? That would be lit to know ^^
Yeah after playing for a week in PBE I don't like charms. Feels like way too much variance that takes away from the various skillsets of tft (econ/positioning/scouting/decision making)
Does "head start" augment make you unable to sell your units too? It's a big deal, cause if you cant and before augment selection you have a lot of staff on bench then you simply lose some good early interest.
After testing a bunch on PBE, the game already feels like it’s in a good state while remaining pretty flexible outside of a few of threweaker/more difficult units to play. Though, it’s likely that this could change once stats for rank are live. The only system changes id like is to revert 4 cost odds on 8. The bag sizes are fine, but With the increase bag sizes of the lower tier units and it being easier to hit those 3 stars, being unable to find 4 cost pairs feels awful after rolling 30-50g. Also, the late game charms can be far too impactful and rng reliant.
51:13 I played a Katarina game with Blighting Jewel. She reduced MR from enemies to 0 and the blue tick (that indicates she is receiving mana) but after cast her mana was set to 0. Is this intended? Does her ult mana-locks her? What is happening?
Hey Mort, I know this was in PBE but I were having a lot of afk partners in Double Up and wasn't able to surrender. Would it be possible to surrender after 5 min if the partner is afk? Not exactly like remake but just so one doesn't have to make a comb for 15 minutes and still be 4th or 3rd at best.
Only thing I don't like about Champion augments being strong is that you end up knowing how many top 4 spots are available too early. I feel the game is pushed more and more to be a gamba of who gets the best opener for a top tier comp by 2-1.

Animate shop messed me up so bad xD I clicked it without reading it and every time I would refresh my shop my shop would auto refresh before I could buy anything. Turns out it takes me almost exactly 2 seconds to read through a shop and press refresh :P
Adjust Blue Buff to really go all out on the low mana cost user utility item role: ~ Still reduces max mana by 10. ~ No longer grants more damage. ~ NEW: Upon casting user's ability, restore 30 mana over 5 seconds (effect does not overlap, but effect will refresh to a new duration). [This will help make the Radiant version be more exciting too.] [This be very tune-able long term, for example, if you want to increase the item's appeal to more champions then 40 mana over 5 seconds, if regenerating too quickly then 30 mana over 6 seconds, if too slowly then 30 mana over 4 seconds, etc. and has a lot of balance tuning that can be done if needed.] This be a lot better to have it entirely be an utility item about rapid firing low cost champion spells, while shojin will be about quickly firing off high cost spells.
Hello, the changes to system and augments are very good. Great job on that.(pool sizes, rerolls, mana etc.) The set itself however is very frustrating to play. Spatulas are way too common, it's way too easy to hit one of the 8/9/10 comps maxed out. (example: 10 Storyweaver was incredibly rare or 10 Mythic was rare, It feels like I see 10 Eldritch every second/third game.) Also I'm very disappointed the OP/useless PBE comps/augments were not changed for live server. The way it currently is, tis very unbalanced, in a lot of cases you win or lose the game with the first augment. I hope you can fix it with patches.

i got The World when i was missing one kalista on PBE, like any other day i spend more time selling and stressing out about what orbs was the kalista one xD (i had like 5 health left and was losing my matches xD)
Hi Mort, im a tftf player from s2 till now. From S10 till now, the 5 cost and 4 cost are way too garbage and useless... the players love the s3, s4, s5, s6, s9 because we feel like if we have some what 2star 5 cost we will feel at least strong or fun on them. But i m so dispoint on these few patch.... so many of my friends were delete the game already in these few patch.... please do something... at leset change back the 4 cost and 5cost numbers. if u think the 3star is too many,,,increase the total number to become 3 star like four 2stars. no like now, we can find a 5cost2 at 9 or 4cost 2 at 8. This makes players feel really bad.......
