This would work beautifully with the plonk where you can create and record randomized percussion into splices automatically with some clever patching to create whole reels of random drums kit.

Such an inspiring video !! thank you ! and awesome sounding jam ! Thank you for the freesound link (there's a ton of nice morphagene reels over there) . I gave it a shot with the autechre reel on my system, and tried to adapt this workflow with different modules, very interesting stuff to work on around the Morphagene !! Cheers

Yes, we enjoy the history of electronic music. We have also featured sounds such as those made by Laurie Spiegel 40 years ago, Ramon Sender and Morton Subotnick 50+ years ago, and many other pioneers. We think all these sounds and concepts are still fun today.

I was always coming to see those patch you upload since i have an old vesion of Shared System B&G. but now I can't do no more of your full patch. I only use my limited imagination. I don't want a new rene or a morphagene. Nice patch by the way -)

Can you setup a drum and ambient patch to run at same time in one Make Noise shared system? How would that work?

I have gotten similar sounds with just a Morphagene, wogglebug, mimeophon, erbeverb, and maths. That would leave both the sequencers, optomix, and DPO free for ambient stuff. Though having another delay or granular processor for the ambient portion would be more ideal, of course.

I believe people have done it with Audition, maybe ProTools? Reaper is the only one I've tried that has given 100% reliable results. Well, that and the Morphagene's SPLICE button.

Yes, Reel built with Ableton and Reaper.

hello there. quick question.. do i have to place the samples on a grid , bar or some specifc mesure on the audio file (from my daw)?? is yes.. how? thanks a bunch.

For this video we placed the markers at the transient points. There was no "rhythm" aside from what was created by the (arbitary) length of each sound. You could download the Reel by following the link in our description, and check it out in the Morphagene or in your DAW, to get a sense of what I mean.
