ooooh thank you!!! I am using this to make a simpler version b/c I'm a beginner sewer. But this is the first tutorial that made me visualize how to do what I wanted to do. :) (I am saving the link to try to make the actual pattern once I get better at all this!) I just sewed a pillow cover front of 3 rows of 3 x5" squares so 9 total charm squares. No quilting. And now I'm about to use your method to cut the overlapping fabric for the back & sew that on.
