This is a compilation of Pathé Revue films of landscapes and culture from the Alpine region, covering parts of Tyrol, and then possibly Hungary.
The first half of the reel is beautifully stencilled in bright colours with a lot of detail, blue, green, brown, red, and yellow. These are scenes of a harbour in the mountains, a castel, a church and other landmarks in the Italian Alps and then pastoral scenes of the people of the regions and more of the same in the Swiss Alps.
The intertitles in these sequences indicate that they are from Pathé Revue No. 11, in Italy, the Adige river valley and Mérano, and Pathé Revue No. 8, in Switzerland and the Lonza river valley. Next the stencilling stops and we have brown toned and black and white footage from Austria, Pathe Revue No. 38.
The ending footage does not have any Pathé Revue number but it is toned blue and appears to be of a Hungarian wedding.
Een compilatie van Pathé Revuefilms van landschappen en de cultuur van het alpengebied, met onder andere gedeeltes van Tirol en mogelijk ook Hongarije.
